To maximize your score on the March 8th SAT, you have about 4 weeks to prepare.

Here's a
detailed study plan to help you reach your goal of a 1600. The plan will include targeted
practice, timed drills, and full-length practice tests to ensure you're prepared for every
section of the test.

Overall Plan Overview:

 Time Remaining: 4 Weeks (28 days)

 Target: 1600 (Math 800, English 800)

 Study Commitment: 2-3 hours per day, plus full-length practice tests every weekend.

Week 1: Initial Diagnostic and Targeted Focus

Goal: Identify weaknesses and establish foundational review.

 Day 1: Diagnostic Test

o Action: Take a full, timed SAT test (official practice test from the College
Board). This helps identify areas of strength and weakness.

o Action: Afterward, thoroughly review mistakes—focus on Math and English

sections.

Math Focus (Day 2-4):

 Algebra & Functions:

o Focus on solving systems of equations, quadratic equations, linear equations,

inequalities, and word problems.

o Do drills (20-30 problems) on each topic.

 Data Analysis & Word Problems:

o Focus on interpreting data from tables, charts, and graphs. Practice questions
on percentages, averages, and probability.

 Resources: Khan Academy’s practice exercises, SAT Math practice sections from The
College Board Official SAT Study Guide.

English Focus (Day 5-7):

 Reading Comprehension:

o Do 2-3 reading passages per day, with a timer. Focus on speed and accuracy in
answering questions.
o Practice inference, main idea, and tone questions.

 Writing & Language:

o Review common grammar rules (subject-verb agreement, punctuation,

sentence structure, etc.).

o Do 20-30 grammar questions per session.

o Focus on errors related to clarity, conciseness, and logical organization.

 Resources: Khan Academy Reading and Writing exercises. The College Board SAT
Study Guide.

Week 2: Strengthening Weak Areas & Timed Practice

Goal: Deepen your understanding of weak areas and begin full-length practice.

Math Focus (Day 8-10):

 Geometry & Trigonometry:

o Study properties of circles, triangles, angles, and use of trigonometric

functions.

o Work on harder problems, especially word problems involving geometry.

o Review common formulas: area, volume, the Pythagorean Theorem, etc.

 Resources: Khan Academy’s SAT Geometry lessons. Full-length SAT Math practice
sections.

English Focus (Day 11-13):

 Reading Comprehension:

Academy’s tests).

 Focus on the entire test experience: timing, endurance, and strategy.

 Afterward, thoroughly review the test. Identify areas where you lost time or made
mistakes.

Week 3: Advanced Practice & Refining Test-Taking Strategy

Goal: Focus on your weakest areas and apply strategies for pacing.

Math Focus (Day 15-17):

 Advanced Algebra and Word Problems:

o Do 20-30 problems per day on polynomial operations, radical expressions,

exponential functions, and complex word problems.

o Focus on both speed and accuracy, as well as applying test-taking strategies

like guessing intelligently when you're unsure.

 Resources: Official SAT Math practice tests and Khan Academy.

English Focus (Day 18-20):

and sentence improvement.

 Resources: The College Board’s Official SAT Study Guide and Khan Academy.

Day 21: Full-Length Practice Test

 Review mistakes thoroughly. Analyze both Math and English sections, focusing on the
questions you got wrong and why.

Week 4: Final Review & Focus on Timing

Goal: Master test-taking strategies, simulate the test environment, and focus on timing.

Math Focus (Day 22-24):

 Mixed Practice:

o Do 25-30 mixed Math questions each day, targeting weak areas identified in
previous practice tests.

o Focus on time management, ensuring you finish each section with time left
