IP address: type camera IP. If wrong, a flashing exclamation mark appears. If Enter is
hit, the warning window below pops up
Update Firmware button: opens a file browser. Search for a file named cnd_[release
number].deb and click Open. At the end of the update process a message window
appears which contains the message: “Camera succesfully updated.”, old and new
build numbers, version numbers and kernel numbers
Reboot Camera: stops stream (if running), then sends a reboot command to the
camera, and opens a console command window and runs ping -a command to
observe camera replies
◦ Exposure Time Lower Limit: sets minimum exposure time (in microseconds)
in Auto Exposure Mode
◦ Exposure Time Upper Limit: sets maximum exposure time (in microseconds)
in Auto Exposure Mode
◦ Gain Upper Limit: sets upper limit of Gain (between 0–36 dB) in Auto
Exposure Mode (default value: 30 dB)
◦ Gamma Correction:
◦ Led:
Sync Exposure: Led is on through the whole time the shutter is open
◦ Metering Region: sets metering region in Auto Exposure Mode. Click on the
image to select a starting point and drag the mouse while holding down
mouse button to draw a square shape for metering region.
FPS: sets camera fps between 1–30 (default: 25 frame per seconds)

Mode: Input/Output
HTTP Event: Send an HTTP POST to a remote target on input port change.

Default Servers: sets True (Use default servers )/False (Use "serverIp" servers )
Snapshot
Stream
Delay: delay time for trigger in milliseconds. At a trigger signal wait this much
time before starting to collect after buffer images (default: 0)
Lockout: lockout time in milliseconds. After a trigger does not send another
sequence of images for this much time (default: 0)
Zero Conf
Get MAC Address button: opens a window with the camera's MAC address in it
Send Soft Trigger button: sends manual trigger signal to the camera
Encoder Settings – Quality: image quality set between 1–100 (Default value: 80)
Exposure Settings
Expected Brightness: if Exposure Mode set to AUTO in the camera config file,
Brightness set between limited values
Set Output check button: tests camera's output state till it's on
Show Unrecognized Results checkbox: check to show unrecognized number plates in the
field at the bottom of the window
