This offer is contingent upon your acceptance of the terms outlined below and successful completion of any
pre- employment requirements.

Start Date
Your start date will be July 14, 2025, or another mutually agreed-upon date

Job Responsibilities
In this role, you will report to the Principal. A detailed description of your duties is attached to this letter.

Remuneration
Your annual salary will be NZD 70,080 paid monthly, subject to standard deductions as per New Zealand
regulations. Additionally, you may be eligible for allowances, bonuses, or benefits, if any.

Hours of Work
Your regular working hours will be Monday to Friday, totaling 40 hours per week.

Leave Entitlement
You are entitled to 4 weeks of annual leave per year, in accordance with New Zealand employment laws, along
with any applicable public holidays.

Employment Type
This position is Fixed-Term. For fixed-term roles, your employment will end in 2 years unless extended by mutual
agreement.

Probationary Period
Your employment is subject to a probationary period of 2 months, during which your performance will be
reviewed. At the end of this period, your ongoing employment will be confirmed in writing.

Termination of Employment
Either party may terminate the employment by providing Notice Period of 4 weeks written notice, or as required
by law.

Job Responsibilities:
As a Mathematics Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and interactive math
lessons, ensuring students develop strong analytical and problem-solving skills in line with the New
Zealand Curriculum (NZC). You will play a vital role in preparing students for NCEA assessments, using
innovative teaching methods to make mathematics accessible and enjoyable.
Plan and deliver structured mathematics lessons, covering topics such as algebra, geometry,
trigonometry, calculus, and statistics.
Prepare students for NCEA (National Certificate of Educational Achievement) assessments.
Assess student progress through tests, assignments, and examinations, providing constructive
feedback.
Differentiate instruction to accommodate diverse learning needs, ensuring all students grasp
mathematical concepts.
Incorporate technology (interactive whiteboards, digital tools, online resources) to enhance
learning experiences.
Monitor student performance, maintain accurate academic records, and report progress to
parents and school administrators.
Encourage problem-solving, logical reasoning, and real-world application of mathematics.
Organize and participate in extracurricular math activities, competitions, and tutoring programs.
Collaborate with colleagues to develop engaging lesson plans and innovative teaching strategies.
Enforce classroom discipline, ensuring a positive and focused learning environment.
