Essay

No- one would deny that environmental issues have gained an important
relevance during the past years. Individuals are extremely concerned about it.
The aim of this essay is to decide which ways can individuals make a difference
to environmental issues.

One of the greatest challenges facing society today is how to encourage


individuals to care about environmental issues, with all the modern life they face
around them. The aim of this essay is to decide which ways can individuals
make a difference to environmental issues.

First of all, raise awareness plays an important role to us. The way we
communicate each others in terms of environmental issues could be one of the
keys in order to raise awareness among individuals. Regarding to this, not only
does schools teach us about social life or thoughts, but also they educate us-
printing leaflets, offering small lectures- about environmental issues. Moreover,
as individuals we can take actions like installing solar pannels at home or
reducing the amount of fossil fuels daily or weekly (such as coal or oil).
Apart from this, the way we travel is also essential talking about environmental
issues. We all as a human beings must support the green choice regarding
environment, which is cutting down the use of cars and getting around the city
by bike or just simply grab the many options of public transport. Unless we take
action now to reverse the carbon footprint, there will be far consequences which
will affect not only our lives, but those of our children and grandchildren too.
On balance, both ways are crucial and it will make a positive impact in our lives.
However, raise people awareness about the environmental issues will definitely
help out and leave a better fingerprint in today´s world. Only when all of us are
fully aware of the damage we are doing to the environment will it be possible to
save our planet from destruction. Every little help counts.
