Britania Action Plan
Britania Action Plan
The “Edukasyon para sa Lahat” Community Action Plan aims to provide access to quality education for underprivileged children in the community,
promote literacy and enhance learning opportunities for the children, and develop a sense of community among the volunteers and beneficiaries. The plan includes
three main activities: a sponsorship program to enroll at least 20 underprivileged children in school, the establishment of a community library to promote literacy
and engage the children, and a skills training program for parents to enhance their income-generating capabilities. The community leader or organizer and
volunteers from the community and partner organizations will be responsible for implementing the activities outlined in the plan. The total budget for the plan is
PHP 68,000, which will be sourced from donations, fundraising activities, and solicitation letters to local businesses and government agencies.
The project will target underprivileged children in the community who are not attending school due to financial constraints. By enrolling these children in
school, the project aims to provide them with access to quality education and improve their chances of breaking the cycle of poverty.
The sponsorship program will be implemented from June to March, covering the academic year. The program will identify the underprivileged children in
the community who are not attending school due to financial constraints. Volunteers will be invited to participate in the sponsorship program by contributing to the
education of the children. The project team will coordinate with the school to facilitate the enrollment of the sponsored children and ensure their continued
attendance. Academic progress of the sponsored children will be monitored, and additional support will be provided as needed.
The community library will be established from April to December, and it will be an accessible resource for the children to enhance their literacy skills.
The project team will identify an available space within the community to establish the library, gather book donations from individuals and organizations to stock
the library, and invite volunteers to help with the organization and maintenance of the library. Reading activities such as storytelling sessions and book clubs will
also be conducted to promote literacy and engage the children in the community.
The skills training program will be conducted from September to November, targeting parents in the community who need to enhance their income-
generating capabilities. A needs assessment will be conducted to identify the skills needed by the parents, and volunteers with expertise in the identified skills will
be invited to facilitate the training program. The program will be designed to be practical and hands-on, and follow-up support will be provided to ensure that the
learned skills are applied in the community.
The community leader or organizer and volunteers from the community and partner organizations will be responsible for implementing the activities
outlined in the plan. The success of the project will depend on the commitment and dedication of these individuals in carrying out the activities and achieving the
project objectives.
