LESSON PLAN - CONSTRUCTIVIST
Objectives: At the end of the lesson:
a) Students should be able to stimulate creative ability to differentiate between fruits and vegetables.
b) Students should be able to speak confidently in public.
c) Students should be able to develop creative and critical skills in the classroom.
d) Students should be able to construct at least five characteristics of the fruits and vegetables.

5 min Students divided into several groups.
Teacher prepares 10 sets of cards. Each card contains - Worksheet
different images. Choose any category, for example, - Video clip
fruits and vegetables. - PowerPoint slides

15 min Give each group of students the cards. 5 fruit cards and
5 vegetable cards.

The instruction – Ask the students to figure out which


are fruits and which are not. When time is up, students
will have to tell the class the answer and explain their
choices.

15 min During the lesson, the teacher guides students through


applying what they have learned. The teacher may call
on individual students and uses thumbs-up and thumbs-
down voting to elicit responses. The teacher then
corrects any misconceptions students have.

Students have to answer some questions about fruits,


identify which given images are fruits, and then label
the parts that make it a fruit.

Evaluation

Practice
Have students apply the creative skills to differentiate
between two similar objects.

Assess
Discuss the answer with the students.

Feedback
Shows the students how it should be done.
