Collocation refers to a group of two or more words that usually go together. Collocation

Collocation are words that are located together.
Here there are some colocations with some verbs : TAKE, GO, PLAY, DO, MAKE
that are used with activities and sports and -ing endings.
The verb "take" is often used to express actions involving obtaining, receiving, using,
or experiencing something. Its meaning depends on the context.
- Do is used with recreational activities and with individual, or fight, like martial
arts, for example: do a crossword puzzle, do athletics, do karate.
- Play is generally used with team sports and those sports that need a ball or
similar object. Also, those activities in which two people or teams compete against
each other: play football, play poker, play chess. Or when people perform an
instrument
