Specific hazards arising : In a fire or if heated, a pressure increase will occur and the container may burst.
from the chemical
Hazardous combustion : Aldehydes, Incomplete combustion products, Oxides of carbon, Smoke, Fume, sulfur
products oxides
Special protective actions : Use standard firefighting procedures and consider the hazards of other involved
for fire-fighters materials. Promptly isolate the scene by removing all persons from the vicinity of the
incident if there is a fire. Assure an extended cooling down period to prevent re-ignition.
Prevent runoff from fire control or dilution from entering streams, sewers, or drinking
water supply. No action shall be taken involving any personal risk or without suitable
training.
Special protective : Fire-fighters should wear appropriate protective equipment and self-contained breathing
equipment for fire-fighters apparatus (SCBA) with a full face-piece operated in positive pressure mode.
Environmental precautions : Avoid dispersal of spilled material and runoff and contact with soil, waterways, drains
and sewers. Inform the relevant authorities if the product has caused environmental
pollution (sewers, waterways, soil or air).
