1. Surface Preparation
Cleaning and Removal of the Existing Damage
screed concrete area. Remove dust, oil, grease
including removal of laitance by wire brush over
the screed Concrete surface. Using a hammer hit
the concrete at regular intervals to find out the
hollow areas. Also look for any cold joints that may
exist due to concreting not being monolithic. Visible
cracks by making a 6mm X 6mm ‘V’ Groove and
filling the same with polymer modified (PMC)
Polymer Modified Cementitious mortar i.e;
PIDICRETE URP Cement & Sand.
Fixing 12mm dia PVC Nozzle where the Screed
Concrete is hollow. Inject Cement Slurry mix with
non shrink grout.
2. Waterproofing System
a) Application of One Slurry Coat of PIDICRETE URP
then Apply Two Coats of PIDIFIN 2K Two
Component pre packed, flexible, Elastomeric
Cementitious Waterproof Coating over the
prepared surface as per recommendation of
manufacturer. Laying Fibre glass cloth over applied
surface of PIDIFIN 2K when the coating is still
green. Application of Second Coat of PIDIFIN 2K
Elastomeric Cementitious Waterproof Coating over
the entire fibre glass cloth laid surface as per
recommendation of manufacturer. PIDIFIN 2K will
be mixed thoroughly manually or mechanically on
application till the final mix becomes the
homogeneous lump free-brusheble slurry in proper
ratio as per Manufacturer Specification. After the
second coat applied allow it to dry by air curing for
1 day with sprinkling the water as curing a next
day..
b) Drain pipe joints to be cut in grooves, cleaned
properly and same should be sealed with Polymer
Putty.
c) The treatment shall also be continued over any
vertical surface for a height of maximum 300mm
above the finished ground level. Incase this height

is not available then it shall be continued to such

height directed by Engineer-in – Charge.
3. Finishing
a) Under the OverHead Tank -After Complete the
Waterproofing Coating, wiring course of 40mm
thick pcc with 6mm down chips in panels of 3m x
3m to maintain a proper slope Mixing with Integral
Waterproofing Compound Pidiproof 101 LW
conforming to IS–2645 for Protect the Polymer
Coating doses @100/gms per bag of cement as per
Manufacturer Specification over the second coat of
waterproofing coating.
b) The whole terrace so finished shall be flooded with
water for a minimum period of 48 hrs for curing
and final test

4. PARAPET WALLS
a) Cleaning and Removal of the Existing Damage
plaster area of the parapet walls. Remove dust, oil,
grease including removal of laitance by wire brush
over the Brick surface. Visible cracks by making a
6mm X 6mm ‘V’ Groove and filling the same with
polymer modified (PMC) Polymer Modified
Cementitious mortar i.e; PIDICRETE URP Cement &
Sand. Over the Brick Surface, One Coat PIDICRETE
URP coating. Then 12mm Plaster Mixing with
Integral Waterproofing Compound Pidiproof 101
LW conforming to IS–2645 for Protect the Polymer
Coating doses @100/gms per bag of cement as per
Manufacturer Specification
b) Cleaning of Plaster surface with diluted HCL( HCL:
Water::1:10), Remove Salt, dust, oil, grease
including removal of laitance from the Plaster
Surface with wire brush.
c) Application of Two Coats of PIDICRETE URP
Elastomeric Cementitious Waterproof Coating over
the prepared surface as per recommendation of
manufacturer. PIDICRETE URP will be mixed
Cement and Water thoroughly manually or
mechanically on application till the final mix
becomes the homogeneous lump free-brusheble
slurry in proper ratio as per Manufacturer
Specification. After the second coat applied allow it
to dry by air curing for 1 day with sprinkling the
water as curing a next day.

plaster from the affected/Damp area( internal Wall)
have to be completely removed to exposed the
brick surface . The debris to be removed from the
work place to the ground floor only.
2. Surface Preparation
After Removal of Plaster from the damp wall area,
the exposed brick structure to be cleaned with
diluted HCL( HCL: Water::1:10), for Salt
Neutralisation from brick surface, manually for
removal of dirt, dust and other foreign matter. Any
unevenness on the wall surface to be smoothened
by filling the cavities with Polymer Modified Mortar(
cement/sand/Acrylic Latex) and left for atmospheric
curing.
3. Waterproofing Coating at Internal Walls- Supply Ls 15000.00
and Application of Two Coats of PIDICRETE URP
( Polymer Modified cement based heavy duty
waterproof Coating) on the entier surface of the
internal walls by brush. Intercoat interval is 6-8 hrs.
The 2nd coat of waterproof coating to be applied
when the first coat is completly dry. A layer of
coarse sand to be sprayed vuniformly on the
coated surface while the 2nd coat is tacky to make it
rough when cured. Curing time of 24-48
Hours( Depending on weather condition) to be
allowed for complete curing.
4 Re plastering- A plaster of 10-15 mm should be laid LS 8000.00
on the finished coated wall surface
