1.2.2 Wind loads
Design wind loads derived from various codes and regulations are compared. The wind load obtained from
Ministerial Regulation of Building Code. Variation of wind pressure along the height is as follows:

1.2.2.1 The wind pressure unit for urban or suburban terrain.


Height from 0 – 10 m wind pressure = 60 ksm.
Height from 10 – 20 m wind pressure = 80 ksm.
Height from 20 – 40 m wind pressure = 120 ksm.

1.4 Design Considerations

1.4.1 Deflection (Vertical displacement and Lateral displacement)

The maximum deflections of structural members (beams and girders produced by the live loads
and equipment loads) shall not exceed the following values.

1.5 Reinforced Concrete Design


Reinforced concrete structure shall be designed in accordance with the applicable provisions of ACI 318
“Building Code Requirements for Reinforced Concrete” and EIT. Standard 1008-38.
