■ Step 1: Company Creation - Open Tally → Create Company - Name: ABC Electronics Pvt. Ltd. -
Financial Year: 1-Apr-2025 to 31-Mar-2026 - Enable GST: Yes (if applicable) - Save and start working
on ledgers and vouchers.

■ Step 2: Ledger Creation 1. XYZ Distributors (Sundry Creditors) – Under Sundry Creditors 2. ABC
Enterprises (Sundry Debtors) – Under Sundry Debtors 3. Purchase A/c – Under Purchase Account 4.
Sales A/c – Under Sales Account 5. Bank A/c – Under Bank Accounts 6. Cash A/c – Under
Cash-in-Hand 7. Maintenance A/c – Under Indirect Expenses ■ Gateway of Tally → Accounts Info →
Ledgers → Create

■ Step 3: Voucher Entries ■ Scenario: - 01-Mar-2025: Purchased 10 air conditioners @ ■45,000 each
from XYZ Distributors on credit. - 05-Mar-2025: Sold 3 air conditioners @ ■55,000 each to ABC
Enterprises on credit. - 08-Mar-2025: Paid ■50,000 to XYZ Distributors by cheque. - 10-Mar-2025:
Received ■1,50,000 from ABC Enterprises via NEFT. - 15-Mar-2025: Paid ■1,500 in cash for shop
maintenance. ■ Entries: 1. Purchase Entry: - Date: 01-Mar-2025 - Voucher Type: Purchase (F9) - Dr:
Purchase A/c ■4,50,000 - Cr: XYZ Distributors ■4,50,000 2. Sales Entry: - Date: 05-Mar-2025 -
Voucher Type: Sales (F8) - Dr: ABC Enterprises ■1,65,000 - Cr: Sales A/c ■1,65,000 3. Payment
Entry: - Date: 08-Mar-2025 - Voucher Type: Payment (F5) - Dr: XYZ Distributors ■50,000 - Cr: Bank
A/c ■50,000 4. Receipt Entry: - Date: 10-Mar-2025 - Voucher Type: Receipt (F6) - Dr: Bank A/c
■1,50,000 - Cr: ABC Enterprises ■1,50,000 5. Payment for Maintenance: - Date: 15-Mar-2025 -
Voucher Type: Payment (F5) - Dr: Maintenance A/c ■1,500 - Cr: Cash A/c ■1,500

■ Step 4: View Trial Balance & Results ■ Gateway of Tally → Display → Trial Balance - Purchase A/c:
■4,50,000 (Debit) - Sales A/c: ■1,65,000 (Credit) - XYZ Distributors: ■4,00,000 (Credit balance after
payment) - ABC Enterprises: ■15,000 (Credit balance after receipt) - Bank A/c: ■1,00,000 (Credit after
adjustments) - Cash A/c: Reduced by ■1,500 for maintenance - Maintenance A/c: ■1,500 (Expense in
P&L;) ■ Check Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet to verify results.

■ Step 5: Final Reports ■ To view reports: - Profit & Loss: Gateway of Tally → Display → Profit & Loss
- Balance Sheet: Gateway of Tally → Display → Balance Sheet - Ledger Reports: Gateway of Tally →
Display → Account Books → Ledger ■ Practice analyzing reports and identifying business
performance.
