Diaphragm installation & calibration User Manual

The Diaphragm Installation & Calibration Guide provides detailed instructions for changing the diaphragm, calibrating the pressure and flow sensors, and calibrating the expiratory valve of a ventilator. It emphasizes the correct sequence of operations: install the diaphragm, calibrate the sensors, and then perform a system test. Successful calibration is confirmed by prompts from the ventilator after each calibration step.

Diaphragm Installation & Calibration Guide Manual

Chapter 1: ............................................................................................................................................. 1
1. Change diaphragm ...................................................................................................................... 2
2. Pressure sensor and flow sensor calibration .............................................................................. 4
3. Expiratory valve calibration ......................................................................................................... 5
1. Change diaphragm:
1.1 Disconnect the expiratory valve and ventilator according to anticlockwise direction,take
down the old diaphragm;

1.2 Aseemble the new diaphragm to the device, the diaphragm plate towards the inside of the
ventilator;

1.3 The expiratory valve seat aligned guide slots,forced under pressure after expiratory valve
clockwise, when you hear a “click”sound stuck expiratory valve,indicating expiratory valve
installation place. After installation, check whether expiratory diaphragm remains flat (it can
influence leakage);

2. Pressure sensor and flow sensor calibration:

2.1 Ensure oxygen and air access connect ventilator normal, switch on the gas source;
2.2 Use one side of a silicon tube connect splint lung, and another side connect inspiratory valve;
2.3 Use one side of a silicon tube connect splint lung, and another side disconnect, then
disconnect flowrate sensor and expiratory valve seat;

2.4 Entering the ‘system’ in ‘standby’ mode, click ‘calibration’, select ‘Pressure Sensor
Calibration’;
2.5 Ventilator start calibrating, at the same time, ‘calibrating’ will be shown;

2.6 After calibration was completed, ventilator would prompt ‘Calibration succeess’.
2.7 Then click ‘Flow Sensor Calibration’ ;

2.8 Ventilator start calibrating, at the same time, ‘calibrating’ will be shown;
2.9 After calibration was completed, ventilator would prompt ‘Calibration succeess’;

3.Expiratory valve Calibration:

3.1 Use one side of a silicon tube connect splint lung, and another side connect inspiratory
valve;
3.2 Use one side of a silicon tube connect splint lung, and another side connect flowrate
sensor, and flowrate sensor and expiratory valve seat should be connected;
3.3 Select ‘system’ button in ‘standby’ mode, click ‘calibration’, press ‘service mode’, input
password’853210’, click‘Enter’, select ‘expiratory valve calibration ’,then it will be shown
‘calibrating’;
3.4 After calibration, ventilator will show ‘calibration succeess’.

Noted: 1. Before to system test, please follow the bellow sequence:

1st install the diaphragm,
2rd calibrate pressure sensor and flow sensor,
3rd calibrate expiratory valve,
4th system test;
2.If it is not ,please do the above calibration steps once more, and later operate ‘system
test’ to check whether pass.
