SUBJECT: Mobilization of Health Emergency Response Team for the Philippine National
Games and Batang Pinoy in Metro Manila on December 17-22, 2023

The Philippine Sports Commission (PSC) will lead the Philippine National Games (PNG) and
the Batang Pinoy (BP) on December 17-22, 2023. The PNG was declared as ‘’centerpiece sports the
program’’ through Executive Order (EO) No. 163 in 1994 to address the need of a truly
comprehensive sports development program that harnesses athletic potentials in the country.
Similarly, BP was created through EO No. 44 in 1998 as the annual competition program for the
youth.

The event will be participated by students/athletes from 149 cities and 82 provinces from
Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao who are
18 years old and above for PNG, and 17 years old and below
for BP.

In this regard, the following HERTs will be mobilized on December 17-22, 2023 in Metro

compensatory time-off, meal allowance, transportation including fuel expenses, communication
including cell card expenses, and other incidental expenses incurred during the mobilization

auditing rules and regulations.
