Turning o! or deleting the password of your Privacy


password will also disable the protection of Private
safe and App lock. However, if you want to delete it,
you may do so in Se#ings. To learn how to delete your
Privacy password, keep reading below.

Delete Privacy password


on OPPO phone
For ColorOS 12 to ColorOS 13 and
above:

Go to [Se"ings
Se"ings] > [Password
Password & Security
Security] >
[Privacy
Privacy Password
Password] then enter your privacy
password and tap [Turn
Turn o# password
password], then tap
[Turn

o#] and enter your privacy password to
con$rm.

For ColorOS 5.1 to ColorOS 11:

What to do if I can't remember my


Privacy Password?

If you forgot the password for your Privacy password,


you can reset the password if you have set a security
question or a recovery email address.

If you did not set up a security


email or questions

We understand how impo%ant the data you have


saved is on the Private Safe/ File Safe and not being
able to access it can be frustrating but for privacy
concerns, we don't store personal/private data, like
passwords.

What to do if no recovery method


is set

If you forgot your password in Private Safe/ File Safe


and did not set any recovery method like those
mentioned above, you need to back up all your $les
and pe&orm a factory data reset.

Note: Pe&orming a factory data reset will erase all


your $les in Private Safe/ File Safe.

If the abovementioned steps did not $x your
