Title: Design of a Standardized Student ID Card

Objective:

You are required to design a Student Identification Card in Microsoft Word that
replicates the sample provided. This task will assess your ability to apply Microsoft
Word features effectively, including layout, formatting, image insertion, and styling.

Instructions:

You must create a Student ID Card that matches the format, size, structure, and style of
the sample provided. Your final document must include both the front and back sides
of the card. Pay close attention to the formatting guidelines below:

Front of the Card Must Include:

• The Institution’s Name (“INTERNATIONAL UNIVERSITY OF


MANAGEMENT”) using:
o Text Effects
o Bold formatting
• A student photo (Use the image of your group leader/your own image)
• Student Information (Details of your group leader/your details):
o Full Name
o Student Number
o Course
o Academic Year
o Faculty
o Card Expiry
• Use the layout, text formatting, and fill color as shown in the sample
• Include the University Logo (download it from the internet and insert it in the
same position and size as in the sample)

Back of the Card Must Include:

• Text: Authorized By:


o Use the signature of the group leader/your own, resized to match the
sample (Use a digital signature)
• Text: Barcode:
o Download a sample barcode image from the internet and insert it as shown

Formatting Requirements:

• Font Style: Cambria


• Font Size: 11
• Use Bold text where applicable
• Use table, shapes, and text alignment to match the original structure
• Use fill color consistent with the sample
• Keep the card the same size as in the provided sample

Submission Guidelines:
• Assignment must be done in groups of not more than 5 students
o Individual For BIT41US Part-Time Student Only
• You must include the following details as indicated in the same:
o Full names of all group members
o Student numbers
o Group Letter.
o Course Code.
o Lecturer’s name.
o Campus.
o Indicate if your group is Full-time or Part-time.
o Your submission must be two pages ONLY, including the Cover Page.
