a damping ratio of 0.5 for this value of ‘ K‘ .Determine Settling

step input.

6. a) The open loop transfer function of a unity feedback system is 10M 5

Sketch the Polar plot of and obtain the gain margin and
phase margin

7. a) Sketch the Bode plot for the open loop transfer function. 10M 5

8. a) Obtain the transfer function of Lead Compensator, draw pole- 5M 5
zero plot and write the procedure for design of Lead
Compensator using Bode plot.
b) Design a suitable lag compensator for a system 5M 6
with, G(S) = 4/S(S+2) meet the specifications
as
a.K v ≥ 5 sec-1 b. P. M ≥ +400 c. G.M. ≥ +10 db.

9. a) Obtain the transfer function of Lag Compensator, draw pole- 5M 5
