Abstract:
This paper explores the fusion of magnetic actuation with AI algorithms to control soft robots
in real-time. Unlike traditional rigid-body robots, soft robots made from flexible materials
offer safe interaction with humans and adaptability to complex environments. Using AI,
particularly reinforcement learning and neural control systems, magnetic fields are
dynamically modulated to guide robotic movement and perform tasks like grasping,
locomotion, or shape transformation. This research focuses on the real-time adaptability of AI
to environmental feedback, ensuring smooth control and precision. We also investigate the
potential of bio-inspired AI techniques for controlling soft-bodied magnetic robots in
healthcare and rescue operations.
