A Waste Paper Disposal

1.0 Separates usable and non-usable papers.


1.1 Usable papers - are papers with unprinted back portion.
1.2 Non-usable papers - are papers printed on both sides and
with no other usage except for disposal.

2.0 Puts non-usable papers in a designated box.

3.0 Turn over the non-usable papers to Finance department


or recycle (e.g. in Petty cash liquidation).

4.0 Record the quantity of non-usable papers to Solid Waste


Logbook. Sell the non-usable paper with the coordination
of Warehouseman.

5.0 For usable papers distribute to the individual department


for zerox copy or scratch.

B Food Left-over

1.0 Gather all the left-over foods and turnover to Canteen for
feeding of animals.

C Used Tin Cans, Computer Ribbon and any other used


Office Supplies

1.0 For recyclable waste such as newspaper, empty tin cans,


plastics, empty ink cartridge, toner, ribbon, carbon turn
over to warehouse for proper disposal.

For biodegradable and non-biodegradable waste


D separate each trash bin and turn-over to MRF in-charge
for proper disposal.

For Laboratory Waste and for hardpaper with plastic

linings

1.0 Collects in trash can empty hardpaper bag and its


plastic lining.

2.0 Dispose according to MSDS instruction or municipal


ordinance.

F For plastic drums and pails, steel drums and tin cans.

1.0 Washes / cleans empty used drums pails of RM.

2.0 Segregates drums, pails tin cans for re-use & recycle.

3.0 Records disposal / sold at solid waste logbook.


G For Ion-Exchange resins:

1.0 Personnel Staff

2.0 Disposes as per MSDS or RA6969.

3.0 Record volume disposed at Solid waste logbook.

H. For carbon granules

1.0 Collects and store in drums all waste carbon.

2.0 Dispose it according to MSDS.

3.0 Record volume disposed at Solid waste logbook.

I For powder chemical from spillage:

1.0 Wear PPE when dealing with powder chemicals

2.0 Identify and record specific chemical powder spilled.

3.0 Recovers if possible. If not refer to MSDS for proper


disposal.

4.0 Generally, dissolved in plenty of water. Neutralizes


then discharges into waste water pond for further
treatment.
5.0 For bulb/paint cans/excess paints/ms plates/used
oil/used batteries/etc. shall be turn-over to
warehouse and warehouse to coordinate with PCO
for proper disposal.

Records volume of waste water disposed and its

For Hazardous waste turn-over to Laboratory for
