Chapter1 Safety Warning
Sterilizer must posit according to the manual.
1.2 Forbidden to put liquid, strong acid and alkali item, particle, Thermal expansion item, inflammable,
explosive, airtight container (especially glassware), high temperature resistant items into the sterilizer
sterilization.
1.3 Sterilizer is quick-opening pressure vessel; it is not forbidden sterilizer to force open the door before
the end of the sterilization cycle.
1.4 The main body is composed of cylinder and steam generator, the steam generator water source and
quality should comply with the appendix A. 1 Quality index of supply water.
1.5 The loading capacity shall not exceed 80% of the sterilizer’s volume. It is forbidden to jam the
discharge outlet, exhaust port and water outlet.
1.6 Sterilizer external power source AC380V adopts three-phase five-wire system; the power is attached
on the nameplate; the external power source should be connected to reliable ground wire; neutral wire
and ground wire cannot be connected together.
1.7 Sterilizer is equipped with safety valve and should be send to the state certification and inspection
organization regularly.
1.7.1 Sterilizer to run the program with microcomputer control, relief valve should not trip in the normal
working state.
1.7.2 Steam generator is equipped with pressure controller; the highest control pressure is 0.25MPa.
1.7.3 The pressure relief valve should be decompressing every month.
1.7.3.1 The set pressure is less than 0.24MPa; the reseating pressure is more than 0.217Mpa.
1.7.3.2 Set the oven temperature to 138 ℃, the relief valve should be able to normal decompression and
close.
1.7.4 If the pressure relief valve can't decompress and closing normally, it should be replaced to
qualified safety valve immediately.
1.8 Each end of the sterilization cycle, the objects should be take out after the sterilization room
temperature dropped to below 90℃ and gloved to prevent burns. Everyday after the sterilization cycle
ends, the power control button of the sterilizer door should be closed at first, then to disconnect the head
power supply circuit breaker on the building, and close the water cut-off valve.
1.9 There are several of warning signs on the sterilizer’s outside; the operator should keep in mind the
warnings.
1.9.1 Warning signs ( Figure 1).

1.9.2 The meaning of
1.9.2.1 Warning: may cause serious harm to human.
If not according to our method of using, you may cause damage to the equipment.
1.9.2.2 Please read this manual carefully and to operate, maintain and repair strictly according to the
requirements.
1.9.2.3 Before the opening of sterilizer, please to confirm the sterilization indoor pressure drops to
0MPa and the relief valve interlocking is unlock. If forced open, high temperature and high pressure
steam would cause accidents such as burns.
1.9.2.4 Sterilizer must be placed alone, ventilation, capacious, bright, smooth and firm ground, and not
to put it in the same space with other equipment and corrosive goods. The ground bearing capacity
should be not less than 1.5 times of the machine weight.
1.9.2.5 Sterilizer should be put in the location where it is easy to disconnect.

1.9.3 The meaning of


1.9.3.1 When the sterilization cycle ended, if the sterilization room temperature is too high, there will
be a lot of hot air exude from sterilization indoor, please don't put the face and hands near the
sterilization room.
1.9.3.2 Please do not close and block the steam exhaust port.

1.9.4 The meaning of alarm


1.9.4.1 The external power source should be connected to reliable ground wire; neutral wire and
ground wire cannot be connected together.The power line L1-L3, ground wire N and ground line E
should be connected according to manual, neutral wire and ground wire cannot be connected together.
1.9.5 The power line shall not to put with strong acid and alkali items, the line pipe should be fixed.
1.9.6 Sterilizer should be disconnected after using.
1.9.7 The external power source should be connected to reliable ground wire. It is strictly prohibited to
use this equipment without reliable ground wire, it may cause the operator to get an electric shock.

Chapter 2 Overview
Horizontal steam sterilizer (hereinafter referred to as the sterilizer), applied pressure saturated steam
to sterilize. The principle is to use gravity displacement, make the steam from top and bottom in the
sterilizer, the cold air discharges from the bottom hole, the cold air replaced by saturated steam, using
the released latent heat of steam to make items sterilized.

Chapter 4 Technical Feature


4.1 The temperature of sterilizer’s work environment is 5℃~40℃, relative humidity is no more than
85%, the pressure is 70KPa~106KPa. The altitude is or below 2000m. The sterilizer should store in the
temperature of -20℃~55℃, relative humidity is or less than 80%, no corrosion gas and well-ventilated
conditions.
4.2 Due to the sterilizer is fixed, the power connection is permanent, and the main power circuit breaker
should be installed on the building.

4.3 The size and basic parameter of sterilizer are conformed to the requirements of relevant regulations
in Safety Technology Supervision Provisions of the Fixed Pressure Vessel and Manufacturing
Supervision and Management Measures of the Boiler Pressure Vessel.
4.4 Sterilizer is quick-open door type, equipped with safety interlock, screen graphics, text display and
warning lights.
4.5 Sterilizer pressure (temperature) indicator (double scale) is analog, accuracy of 1.6 degree, dial scale
is from -0.1 to 0.4 MPa, when the atmospheric pressure is 70 KPa to 106 KPa, the pressure gauge
reading as zero ( Figure 1a). Vapor generator pressure meter’s dial scale is from 0 to 0.4 MPa( Figure
1b).

4.6 Sterilizer is controlled by a microcomputer control system, with water level, time, temperature
control, automatic power off function, the alarm of and water cut-off and over temperature, and the dual
protection of low water level.
4.7The sterilizer protection level is 1 grade, the pollution level is 2 grade, overvoltage category is Ⅱ
class, operating conditions is continuous operation.
4.8 Sterilizer is using the control panel to operate, the interface has a menu and graphics display.
4.9 Sterilizer is marked warning and prompt tag in striking place, to inform the operator to master the
importance of operating essentials, and to observe the safety precautions.
4.10 The work pressure is 0.217 MPa, the noise is lower than 65 dB(A-weighting).
4.11 The external power source is connected to reliable ground wire, and has the obvious mark to it.

4.12 The sterilizer is equipped with the vapor generator water inlet solenoid valve and Steam inlet valve
of sterilization room.
4.13 The sterilizer is equipped with the manual exhaust valve (the frequency of preheating can also be
manually controlled), and can be subject to manual exhaust and trace exhaust to ensure that the sterilizer
can discharge the cold air in the sterilization room in the sterilization cycle to ensure the sterilization
effect.
4.14 Sterilizer is equipped with a built-in steam generator, use the solution (water) which the boiling
point is 100 ℃ produce steam to sterilization.
4.15 Sterilizer steam generator has a water level observation window, which marked with high and low
water level, the heating power will be shut off when the water below the level, the warning light will
hint and touch screen will display. (Figure 3)
4.16 Sterilizer is equipped with pressure test connector (use for pressure testing), and marked with the
words "PT", usually sealed by a cap (Figure 4)
4.17 Sterilizer is equipped with temperature test with connector (use for temperature testing), and
marked "TT", usually sealed a cap. (Figure 5)
4.18 Sterilizer is equipped with carrying baskets, and there are carrying baskets are fixed, to prevent

Chapter 5 Technical Parameter


5.1 The sterilizer is built-in with a steam generator.
5.1.1 Power supply voltage is ac 380 v, 50 hz, power is showed in table 1, steam pressure is 0.217 MPa.
5.1.2 Set the pressure deviation of the safety valve should not exceed ± 3% of the setting pressure, or
set the pressure limit deviation should not exceed the set pressure of ± 0.015MPa larger value. Safety
valve opening and closing pressure should not be greater than 0.04MPa, while equipped with a pressure
controller, when the pressure is greater than 0.24MPa, the automatic cut off the heating tube heating
power and the front door shows the heating green heating indicator light off state.
5.1.3 Steam generator is equipped with power indicator light (red) and heating indicator light (green), to
display the running state of the steam generator (power indicator light only shows the power status, the
light is to display heating tube heating running state), absence alarm (power off or opposite order three
lines).
5.1.4 The steam generator is equipped with the Steam inlet valve and manual water outlet .
5.2 The series of sterilizer’s inner diameter, volume, shape and size to see the following table:

5.3 Sterilizer and sterilization room
5.3.1 The rated working pressure of sterilization room is 0.217 Mpa.
5.3.2 The sterile room equipped with safety valve, setting pressure is or less than 0.24 MPa.
5.3.3 Sterilizer control system is control panel, with graphics and pressure buttons.
5.3.4 Sterilization temperature range is 121 ~ 134 ℃ with five grades to option (factory Settings are
121℃-20min, 126℃-15min, 134℃-4min and corresponding sterilization time are saved in the control
panel buttons marked with temperature; Temperature and time only can be increased, could not be
diminished).

5.3.5 Effective sterilization time setting range are 0 ~ 60 min, the indication error of no more than plus
or minus 1% (time range is display 0 ~ 9999min).
5.4 Sterilizer is equipped with fuse.
5.4.1 The specifications of main power source fuse are shown in Ttable 1.
5.4.2 The specification of control circuit fuse is T2AL AC250V 2A.
5.5 Sterilizer is equipped with safety interlock.
5.5.1 When sterilizer door closed, starting the run button, the safety interlock is locked (90℃ lower, the
safety interlock could be unlocked). After the sterilization room temperature over 90℃, interlocking
device could not unlock (forbidden to unlock force), with hints of text and graphics.
5.5.2 The process of the sterilizer door opened temporarily; when starting the running button, the door is
locked (the interlock red lamp lights up in the control panel. When the control panel displays the
temperature below 90℃, you can press the key▲ and ► for 3 seconds to unlock; it is prohibited to
unlock forcibly).
5.5.3 After the end of countdown of sterilization, when the buzzer prompts and shows END, the manual
vent valve is opened (when sealing the container or the glass ware, the manual vent valve should be
controlled and should not be opened too big in order to avoid burst). When the steam pressure is relieved
in the sterilization room, the pointer of the pressure gauge returns to zero. After the temperature falls to
below 90℃ and the buzzer prompts and shows END, the safety interlock is unlocked (the interlocking
light goes out), and then the door is opened.
5.5.4 In the sterilization process manual exhaust valve should always open to the "three grid" of the
micro-exhaust state, so that sterilization indoor cold air continue to discharge, to ensure that the
sterilization effect.
5.6 Lifetime of sterilizer safety interlock is 5000 sterilization cycles (a sterilization time as a cycle, about
five years).
5.7 Stowage box of sterilizing stuff see the Table 3.

Chapter 6 Installation Requirement


6.1 Sterilizer must be installed in a separate building where bright, ventilate, surface smooth and tough,
with discharge of sewage sewer. The ground bearing capacity must more than 1.5 times of the machine
weight.
6.2 Sterilizer is strictly forbidden to position near the strong corrosive, toxic, flammable, explosive and
other items.
6.3 Sterilizer’s location should be leave enough space to operation and maintenance, sterilizer’s location
should be leave enough space for the objects in and out the sterilization room, the left, right and back
safe distance to building is not less than 1.5 meters. It cannot be placed in the location of the power
supply hardly to cut and to operation.
6.4 Sterilizer is equipped with castors for lifting and carrying, when the position is confirmed,
positioning screw should be fixed feet to the ground, to prevent shifting for a long time operation that
will causes the sterilizer operating fault or accident.
6.5 Sterilizer should be connected with the outside world through insulation pipes, and the power line

should be fixed to prevent wearing or short cut.
6.6 The sterilizer external power source adopts three-phase five-wire system; shall be installed breaker
which power greater than nameplates on the buildings (with leakage protection) and identify with words
"dedicated". Sterilizer should be fixed and connected to the ground wire, neutral wire and ground wire
cannot be connected together. Circuit breaker shall conform to the requirements of GB 14048.1 and
GB14048.3. And be installed in the place the operator easy to reach.
6.7 Sterilizer is equipped with the steam generator, it is needed to be connected with external water
supply.
6.7.1 The steam generator inlet should be connected with 1/2 "metal corrosion resistance, high
temperature resistance and high pressure resistance pipe.
6.7.2 The manual stop valve should be installed between the steam generator and the external water
supply pipe, the cut-off valve should be open during sterilizer operation.
6.7.3 The steam generator is equipped with the water feed solenoid valve and the check valve. The
external water pressure should be greater than 0.15Mpa.
6.7.4 External water quality should comply with the specification requirements for the water quality in
the Appendix A.

Chapter 7 Method of Application


7.1 The preparation of starting
7.1.1 Before operation, the following steps should be observed;

7.1.1.1 Close the power circuit breaker.
7.1.1.2 Open the sterilizer power lock which on the front panel. (Figure 6).

7.1.1.3 Check all electronic parts on the front panel of the sterilizer whether it’s

7.1.2 Control panel is bright and displays as initial state.
a﹚The names and usages of the control panel. (Figure 7)
1) The heating lamp: When entering the sterilization cycle, the heating lamps flash in turn. When
entering the sterilization time, the lamps go out;
2) The sterilizating lamp: When entering the sterilization time, the sterilization lamps flash in turn.
When entering the cooling time, the lamps go out;
3) The cooling lamp: When entering cooling time, the cooling lamps flash in turn. When entering the
next time, the lamps go out
4) END lamp: When entering the end time, the finish lamps flash in turn until the sterilization door is
opened and the finish lamps go out;
5) The water level lamp: The lamp of the place in which the water level is located will light up (if the
water level is too much, the lamp for “too much” water level will light up to prompt to lower the
water level to running water level);
6) The lamp for door opened: The lamp bright shows the door is open;
7) The lamp for door closed: The lamp is bright, which shows that the door is opened. The lamp goes
out, which shows that the door hasn’t been closed. When the door is closed in place, the status lamp
is bright;
8) Interlocking lamp: When the sterilizer door is closed in place for 3 seconds, the interlocking lamp
lights up;
9) Display window: It can display the temperature and time of the sterilization pot. At end, it can
display End;press the key►to display the temperature of the evaporation boiler (at the same time,
the display window 2 displays ).
10) The key F: For the testing key of safety valve, press the key F to set the temperature more than
138℃(the relevant pressure 0.24MPa﹚. When reaching the setting temperature (pressure), safety
valve should jump. If the safety valve cannot jump, it should be replaced with the qualified safety
valve;
11﹚ 121℃,126℃,134℃ button; according to the relevant provisions of the state, lock three cycles
121℃ not less than 20min, 126℃ not less than 15min, 134℃ not less than 4min;
12﹚Setting: For setting (confirming) button, first press this button, press the key ▲▼◄► to modify
parameters, and then press this key to confirm. After the key “SET” is pressed for more than 5 seconds,
the instrument enters the setting state of other parameters;
13)Shift key:
▲ is addend key. When setting parameter, press the key, plus 1 at setting value flicker bit.
▼ is subtrahend key. When setting parameter, press the key, minus 1 at setting value flicker bit.
►is the right shift key. When setting parameter, press the key, enable the setting parameter flicker bit to
shift a bit towards the right side.
◄ is the left shift key. When setting parameter, press the key, enable the setting parameter flicker bit to
shift a bit towards the left side.
14﹚Start/stop key: After the completion of parameter setting, press this key to start, and press for more
than 3 seconds to stop(This function is only applicable when the temperature inside the sterilization pot
is below 90℃).

15) Exhausting key: press this button to automatically discharge the cold air to 102 degrees when the
sterilization process is warming up.
7.2 The preparation of the sterilizer running
7.2.1 The sterilization items are packed and put into he loading basket.
7.2.2 When the sterilizer door is opened, pull out the manual safety pin and turn the door handle to the
stop position (the control panel "door is open"), the door opening and closing handle flashes, and the
door is turned to the stop position Control panel "door has been closed"), door opening and closing
handle indicator light (Figure 8).

7.2.3 The loading baskets of the sterilization items are put into the sterilization room in turn, and should
not exceed 80% of the volume of the sterilization room (should not block the steam inlet, the discharge
port of the safety valve, the discharge outlet of cold air and other channels).
7.2.4 Shut the sterilizer door to the closed position, revolve the handle of door opening and closing to
the stop position towards the right (the lamp for ‘door has been opened’ on the control panel lights up).
7.2.5 After the temperature key of the sterilization item on the control panel is pressed, the lamp in the
key lights up.
7.3 Sterilization operation process
7.3.1 According to the requirements of sterilization items, select the key 121℃,126℃,126℃,F;
7.3.1.1 After 121℃ key is selected, the display window 1 shows 121℃ ( the temperature is
non-adjustable), and the display window 2 shows 20min (in order to ensure the sterilization effect, time
can be only added, but should not be subtracted).
7.3.1.2 After 126℃ key is selected, the display window 1 shows 126℃ ( the temperature is
non-adjustable), and the display window 2 shows 15min (in order to ensure the sterilization effect, time
can be only added, but should not be subtracted).
7.3.1.3 After 134℃ key is selected, the display window 1 shows 134℃ ( the temperature is
non-adjustable), and the display window 2 shows 4min (in order to ensure the sterilization effect, time
can be only added, but should not be subtracted).
7.3.1.4 After the key F is selected, the display window 1 shows the adjustable temperature figure, and
the display window 2 shows the sterilization setting time.
7.3.1.5 Enter the sterilization cycle
When the automatic exhaust key is not selected, no matter which key to be chosen (before pressing the
start key, you can press any key to set), preheating lamp starts flashing circularly. Shut the manual vent
valve (adjust the preheating cycle times by the manual vent valve), namely;

(1)When the temperature of the evaporator reaches 110℃, the display window 2 shows ,

and the buzzer beeps 20s. The steam inlet valve is opened, steam enters the sterilization room;
(2)When the temperature of the sterilization room reaches 110℃, the display window 2 shows

and the buzzer beeps 20s. The exhaust magnetic valve is opened automatically.
(3) These above steps will be circled for 3 times. When the 4th times starts, we suggest it better to
open the exhaust steam valve to the micro exhaust steam position (Figure 9) until sterilization room
rise to the chosen temperature

(4) Enter the choice of the sterilization temperature intervals
a﹚When reaching too much water level, the sterilizer doesn’t work with buzzer beep. At this moment,
manually open the Water outlet and Pressure relief outlet to lower the water level to the standard water
level, and stop the buzzer. When the water level is lower than the standard water level in the sterilization
cause, conduct the automatic replenishing water. The external water source pressure should be greater
than 0.15Mpa.
b﹚The evaporator starts heating (when needing to examine the temperature in the evaporation boiler,
press the key ►on the control panel. The display window 2 shows , and the display window
1 shows the temperature in real time. Press the key ►to exit). After the end of preheating, the
sterilization lamp on the sterilizer panel lights up to enter the choice of sterilization temperature period
(as shown in the Figure 11).

c﹚When the sterilizer door is opened and the lamp for door opened lights up, the starting key is pressed
to lock the safety interlocking (the interlocking lamp lights up). When the temperature in the sterilization
room is below 90℃, press the key ▲►at the same time about 3s to unlock (see Figure 12). At the
temperature of more than 90℃, unlock cannot conduct(it is prohibited to unlock forcibly).
7.3.2 When the temperature in the sterilization room reaches the selected temperature, start countdown .
The temperature selecting key has the corresponding sterilizing time. The sterilizing time can only be
increased, but should not be reduced.
7.3.3 If “F”safety valve testing key is used, temperature and time can be set freely.
7.3.4 After the end of the sterilizing countdown, the display window 2 shows , and the

buzzer beeps. , press the key ►to stop the beep and the flash of the display window; at the same time,
the exhaust steam cooling lamp starts to flash into the automatic exhaust steam cooling stage.(When the
automatic exhaust key is not selected, users should turn the manual exhaust steam valve to “ON”)
(Figure 10)
7.3.5 When the temperature in the sterilization room lowers below 90℃ , the countdown is over, and
the display window shows . The sterilizer door is unlocked, the sterilizing course is over, and
the buzzer hints.
7.3.6 Revolve the handle for door opening and closing towards the left to the stop position, open the
sterilization room and take out the load basket.
7.3.7 If conducting the next sterilization cycle, repeat the above operation course (the water level of
evaporator adds to the running water level automatically).
7.3.8 If no longer sterilizing, shut the Water inlet. Manually open the Water outlet (make the evaporation
boiler drain smoothly) to drain the water.
7.3.9 Shut the sterilizer to control the power lock, disconnect the power circuit breaker of the building,
and shut the door of the sterilizer.
7.4 Select the key “F” to conduct the safety valve testing
7.5 Setting the temperature value and the error testing of indicated temperature of pressure gauge;
7.5.1 For the correction method of empirical coefficient, correct the SC value of temperature sensor
﹙PT100﹚, enable the display window of the control panel to be basically identical with the indicating
temperature of the pressure gauge.
7.5.2 For instrument testing method, through the temperature test connector ﹙T T﹚, place the
temperature tester and seven sensor at the special position according to the standard.
7.5.3 For temperature error, the sampling sensor of temperature tester and the temperature sensor of the
sterilizer should be at the same place. the temperature on the display window of the control panel and
the temperature upper limit on the temperature tester should be within 0~3℃.
7.5.4 For temperature uniformity test, 7 sensors are set according to the standard. The difference in
temperature should be in 2℃ in the same time.
7.5.5 (as shown in Figure 13)The SC value in three keys of 121℃,126℃ and 134℃ has been corrected,
and is basically identical with the value of the pressure gauge. In generally, do not modify at will. Time
settings may have difference with the actual demand of the users.
7.5.5.1 SC value setting method: After long pressing the setting key for 5 seconds , the display window

7.7 The dismantling method of the left and right doors.
7.7.1 Unload the door plank(First below the top)
The sterilizer have 2 pieces of door plank on both sides, each door is equipped with two bolt (Figure
16). If you want to open the right side, you need to unload the Lower right door plank, lift the door
plank and move out (see Figure 17). If the Upper right door plank need to be lifted, according to the
method above.

7.7.2 Install the door plank(Fist above the top)
Install the Upper right door plank at first, the four horizontal card slot aim to the bolt (Figure 18)
respectively. After pushing the downward pressure, to insert the bolt into the card slot, complete the
Upper right door installation. To install the Lower right door plank is the same method.

Chapter 8 Maintenance
8.1 The sterilizer should be check everyday before starting, the mechanical structure is or not damaged,
safety interlock is or not normal, all going well you can operate normally. The service life of the
sterilizer safety interlock is 5000 cycles (about five years), it should be check regularly. If it is
breakdown, its need to contact the manufacturer for professional maintenance and replacement.
8.2 when the sterilization is finished everyday, the power button should be shut down, the power supply
circuit breakers should be disconnected, the water cut-off valve should be closed. Sterilizer chamber
should be clean frequently with brush and water, then wipe with a clean cloth, so does the sterilizer
surface.
8.3 If water accumulated in the evaporator, water should be ruled out in time after sterilization, to
prevent scale and effect of normal work.
8.4 The indoor pipeline interfaces should be check frequently whether they were choked up with
objects, and they should be dredge frequently, especially the relief valve and pressure controller
interface are forbidden to jam.
8.5 Pressure gauge and relief valve shall be send check tests accord with qualification of the institutions
on time in accordance with the provisions, the unqualified should be replaced in time.
8.6 Door seal is fragile, should be prevented for sharp objects. It will gradually aging along with the
high temperature and high pressure, normal life is 3 years, and it should be checked regularly, if there is
damage, it should be replaced timely.
8.7 The operator should be trained professionally, keeping the running records, especially the abnormal
state and exclude records, so that its easy to trace and improve.
8.8 Sterilizer service life is about 10 years, production date to see the nameplate.
8.9 The sterilizer should be regularly check for leakage, the components should be replaced in a timely
if its leaking. Otherwise the normal working will be affected.

8.10.3 Component damage and change


If it need to replace components, components must be obtained from the manufacturer or authorized
