2020 Teacher Training Test Out Preparation Comprehensive
2020 Teacher Training Test Out Preparation Comprehensive
Comprehensive Program
In order to graduate, all Comprehensive Teacher Training Participants must complete the
following in order.
● 500 Program Required Hours
○ The 150 Online Hours is an estimate for the time required to complete all of the
required coursework on Canvas, which is tracked by Canvas automatically
● Final Written Assignment (3 Class Flows assigned by your Master Trainer)
● Final Written Exam
● Practical Test Out (approximately 75 minutes)
You will receive an email with the subject “Club Pilates Teacher Training Final Written Exam”
with a link and instructions on how to access the exam. This email should arrive in your inbox
in 7 business days or less from the request date. The exam will also appear on your Canvas
Dashboard and your All Courses listing as a separate course. The exam consists of multiple
choice, checkbox, or matching-based questions and is capped at 2 hours for completion.
Once you begin the test, the time limit cannot be paused so please plan accordingly before
you begin. We recommend reviewing your previous quizzes in Canvas in preparation. If you
would like additional time to study after receiving the final written exam email, you may do so
as the link will not expire. You are provided 2 attempts. There is not a time limit between
attempts. Please note: the exam is a closed book. No online/outside assistance or data
mining is permitted.
The final written exam must be completed with a passing score of 80% prior to completing
your practical test out. If you are unsuccessful after 2 attempts, a development plan with
your Master Trainer is required for completion before they can request additional attempts
for you.
Passing Score:
A minimum score of 8 (out of 10) is required to pass each component of the Practical Test
Out. For example, if you score less than an 8 on a particular apparatus, you will need to retest
on that apparatus in order to graduate. One practical test out is included in your Teacher
Training tuition. Should you require more than one practical test out, additional fees may
apply.
Your Master Trainer will complete the evaluation form and will provide feedback. They will
provide a completed copy of your Practical Test Out form with your score and notes either via
email or uploaded to Canvas.
Video Recording:
Because of technology limitations, and only in the event that your Master Trainer, your home
studio and your schedules do not align, and all efforts to test out live have been considered,
you may submit a recording of your Practical Test Out. When recording, please select
medium video quality.
Once recorded, choose one of the following File Upload Directions/Options:
1. Direct File Upload to Canvas on the Practical Exam assignment section
2. Studio Video Upload, then match the video to the Practical Test Out assignment
2.1. Using the Studio button on the global navigation bar (gray bar on the left) of
Canvas, upload your video to your Studio account.
2.2. Go to the Practical Test Out assignment submission page and select the Studio
icon (tab). Then select the video for your submission.
3. If needed, split your video file into multiple clips and upload each video clip to Canvas
and/or Studio using the steps above as “additional files”.
4. If none of the options above are successful, upload your video file to YouTube as a
private/unlisted video and provide the video link on the Practical Test Out assignment
page.
Once your video file(s) are uploaded, please update your Master Trainer so they can review
the video(s) and complete their evaluation.
