NOTICE INVITING SHORT E-TENDER FOR EXECUTION OF WORK

The Executive Engineer (Electrical), Chengannur for and on behalf of the Travancore
Devaswom Board, invites competitive e-tenders for the work noted below from
registered Contractors of Travancore Devaswom Board/ Kerala Public Works
Department/ Public Sector Under takings/ Authorized Sales & Service Dealers. Only
those bidders having a valid and active registration and who possess compatible digital
signature certificate issued by the competent can participate in the tender.

Special Conditions

• The contractor/ firm should have executed a minimum of 5 works in executing


similar nature of works during this period. Documents in this regard shall be uploaded
along with tender documents. Certificate from a competent authority to this effect should
be submitted along with the tender.

• The work should be done as per the directions of department officials at the site. The
detailed hardware, technical Specifications and make of materials to be used for the
work are specified in the tender documents. All materials, accessories, and
appliances, etc. having approved quality should be used for the work.

*PWD Contractors should register themselves as a contractor in TDB before


executing the agreement.
General conditions

Tender documents and Tender schedule can be downloaded free of cost from thee-GP,
Website (www.etenders.kerala.gov.in). Bidders shall remit the fee of the tender
documents with schedule and EMD using the online payment options of e-procurement
system only. Bidders are advised to visit the “Downloads” section of e-procurement
website: www.etenders.kerala.gov.in for detailed instructions on making online payment
using Internet banking facility of SBI or by using NEFT/RTGS facility. Bidders opting for
NEFT/RTGS facility of online payment are advised to exercise this option at least 48 hours
before the closing of the bid to ensure that payment towards the fee of the tender
documents with schedule and EMD are credited and a confirmation is reflected in the e-
procurement system. The online NEFT/RTGS remittance form provided by e-
procurement system for making a NEFT/RTGS transaction is not a payment confirmation.
NIC/SBI/TDB shall not be responsible for any kind of delay in payment status
confirmation. All bids/ tender documents are to be submitted online only and in the
designated cover(s)/ envelope(s) on the e-GP website. Tenders/bids shall be accepted
only through online mode on the e-GP website and no manual submission of the same
shall be entertained. Late tenders will not be accepted. The scanned copies of valid license
of registered contractors duly attested by the Competent Authority / Chief Engineer /
Executive Engineer of TDB as the case may be. The TDB will not be responsible for any
error like missing of schedule data while downloading by the Bidder. If the document
submission date, opening date happen to be a holiday or not working due to any valid
reasons, the tender opening process/submission of document will be done on the next
working day. All conditions prevailing in this department as per NIT / Revised PWD
Manual regarding tenders are applicable to this tender also. Further details, if required,
can be had from this office during working hours.
