Chapter I
INTRODUCTION
Conceptual/Theoretical Framework
- A conceptual framework is needed when there are inferences
(relationship, differences) stated in the statement of the study. The
conceptual figure alone is one page right after the page citing it. Source/
Author for every variable with indicators. Only one author for every
variable, not several authors.
- The theoretical framework will be formulated from an existing theory/ies
serves as the foundation of the study. In such a case, the paradigm that is
originally used by the theorist can be fully adopted in the present study. It
can also be adapted since that researcher can add or subtract variables
from the original framework, provided the whole theory is utilized.
1
Hypothesis
- Needed when there are inferences (relationship, differences) stated in the
statement of the problem.
- One of each objective on difference/ relationship/ influence/ prediction/
impact/ whichever is applicable.
Definition of Terms
- Only the keywords or important terms are defined operationally.

RESEARCH METHODOLOGY
Research Design
- Appropriate design used, with author; justification for its use and
contextualized to the study (e.g. quantitative non-experimental design,
qualitative experimental design)
Research Locale
- Describe the local or setting of the study. It also describes in brief the
place where the study is conducted and the rationale behind its choice.
The present situation of the topic or respondents/participants in the
locale. If possible, you can present the trend to support your study.
Research Instrument
- Source/ Author, Cronbach Alpha/ Average validation rating
- If researcher- made, pre-testing procedure discussed & its reliability.
N/A if not applicable
4
- Explain in detail (from asking permission to collation of date; focus:
experiences)
Statistical Treatment
- Enumeration the appropriate statistics to be used based on the
statement of the problem

RESULTS AND DISCUSSION

Chapter VI
SUMMARY, CONCLUSION AND RECOMMENDATION
Summary
- There should be a brief statement about the main purpose of the study,
the population of respondents, the period of the study, the method of
research used, the research instrument, and the sampling design. There
should be no explanations made.
- Summary of finding should be in relation to the statement of the problem.
Conclusion
- Conclusions should be based on the summary of findings. They should
not contain any numeral because numerals generally limit the forceful
effect or impact and scope of a generalization. No conclusions should be
made that are not based upon the findings.
- Conclusions should appropriately answer the specific questions raised at
the beginning of the investigation in the order they are given under the
statement of the problem.
- Conclusions should point out what were factually learned from the inquiry.
However, no conclusions should be drawn from the implied or indirect
effects of the findings.
- Conclusions should be formulated concisely, that is, brief and short, yet
they convey all the necessary information resulting from the study as
required by the specific questions.
- Conclusions should not be repetitious of any statements anywhere in the
thesis. They may be recapitulations if necessary, but they should be
worded differently and they should convey the same information as the
statements recapitulated.
7
Recommendation
- Recommendations are appeals to people or entities concerned to solve or
help solve the problems discovered in the inquiry.
- No recommendations should be made for a problem, or anything for that
matter, that has not been discovered or discussed in the study.
Recommendations for things not discussed in the study are irrelevant.
- There may also be recommendations for the continuance of a good
practice or system, or even recommendation for its improvement.
- Recommendations should aim for the ideal but they must be feasible,
practical, and attainable.
- Recommendations should be logical and valid.
- Recommendations should be addressed to the persons, entities,
agencies, or offices who or which are in a position to implement them.
- There should be recommendation for further research on the same topic in
other places to verify, amplify, or negate the findings of the study. This is
necessary so that if the findings are the same, generalizations of wider
application can be formulated.
