Good morning, everyone! Today, we will be discussing a very interesting topic: "AI
WILL IMPROVE THE QUALITY OF HUMAN LIFE." Let's start with enthusiasm and
respect for each other's opinions.

I stand here today to offer a different perspective on the claim that artificial
intelligence (AI) will automatically improve the quality of human life. Undoubtedly, AI
has brought many innovations that make our lives easier. However, behind the glitter
of this technology, there are a number of serious challenges that we need to pay
attention to.

Firstly, the threat to jobs. We often hear that AI will create new jobs. However, the
fact is that many jobs will be lost and replaced by machines. Just imagine, cashiers
at supermarkets, telephone operators, and even some creative professions such as
graphic design and simple content writing, have the potential to be replaced by AI.
This will create serious social problems such as mass unemployment and economic
instability.

Secondly, the widening digital divide. AI requires a large amount of data to learn.
However, access to this data is not evenly distributed. Developed countries with
greater resources will be better able to develop and utilize AI. As a result, developing
countries will be left further behind and the digital divide will widen.

Thirdly, the increasing risk of privacy. More and more of our personal data is being
collected by technology companies. This data can be misused for commercial or
even political purposes. We have often heard cases of data breaches that have
harmed many people. With AI, this risk will only increase.

Fourthly, the potential for disinformation and hoaxes. AI can be used to generate
highly convincing fake content. We have already seen how deepfakes and fake news
can manipulate public opinion and damage someone's reputation. This is very
dangerous for democracy and social stability.

Fifthly, excessive reliance on technology. The more we rely on AI, the more
vulnerable we are to technological disruptions. Imagine if there is a major system
failure one day, all our activities could be paralyzed. In addition, excessive reliance
on technology can also have a negative impact on our mental health and social
relationships.

In conclusion, AI does offer a lot of positive potential. However, we need to realize


that the development of AI also carries very big risks. We need to develop wise
policies to regulate the development and use of AI. We also need to prepare
ourselves for the changes that will occur in the future.

Let us ensure that AI is used for the common good, not to enrich a few and harm
many. Real-world examples include: • Autonomous vehicles: Fatal accidents
involving autonomous vehicles show that this technology is not yet fully safe. •
Biased algorithms: AI algorithms often contain biases that can reinforce social
injustice. • Autonomous weapons: The development of autonomous weapons that
can make their own decisions without human intervention is a serious threat to
humanity.
