Defines offences and provides punishments.
Covers general principles (intention, liability) and specific crimes (murder, theft,
rape).

A. Offences Against the Person
Murder (S.302)
Punishment: Death or life imprisonment
Includes Qatl-i-Amd (intentional), Qatl-bis-sabab (indirect)
Hurt (S.319–337)
Includes shajjah, jurh, daman, diyat, arsh, ta’zir
Rape (S.375–376)
Includes gang rape, rape of minor
Punishment: 10 years to death penalty
Kidnapping/Abduction (S.359–374)
For ransom, trafficking, etc.
