Pentane vapor can irritate the nose and throat. A large amount of inhalation can cause anesthesia to the central nervous system
when dizziness is high. Slightly irritating to the eyes, can cause tears or red eyes. A large amount of food can cause stomach
discomfort, nausea, and dizziness. A small amount of additives in the product may irritate the skin. May cause harm to breast-fed
children.

Section 5 Firefighting measures

5.1 Extinguishing media:
Suitable extinguishing media: Water fog, foam, dry powder, carbon dioxide, sand.
Unsuitable extinguishing media: Not available.
5.2 Special hazards arising from the Harmful CO, CO2 and HBr gases will be produced during the combustion
substance or mixture process. Since the particles are spherical, leakage on the ground may cause
slipping and damage.
5.3 Advice for firefighters: In the event of fire, wear self-contained breathing apparatus. Use personal
protective equipment. Wear chemical resistant over suit. Cool containers / tanks
with water spray.

Section 6 Accidental release measures

6.1 Personal precautions, protective equipment and emergency procedures:
6.1.1 For non-emergency personnel: The fire source should be removed to enhance ventilation. Particles scattered on
smooth ground can easily cause people to fall and get hurt.
6.1.2 For emergency responders: Evacuate personnel to safe areas. Keep people away from and upwind of
spill/leak. Ventilate the area. Wear suitable protective clothing.
6.2 Environmental Precautions: Do not pour the discarded particles into drains and sewers.
6.3 Methods and material for Containment If it is spilled, it should be cleaned in time, collected in a dry, clean and covered
and Cleaning up: container with a clean shovel, and the unsoiled particles can be reused.
6.4 Reference to other sections: See Section 7 for information on safe handling.
See Section 8 for information on personal protection equipment.
See Section 13 for information on disposal.

Section 7 Handling and storage

7.1 Precautions for safe handling:
7.1.1 Protective measures: Used in closed system When diluting, always add the product to water. Never
add water to the product. Use only equipment and materials which are
compatible with the product. Keep away from Incompatible products. To avoid
thermal decomposition, do not overheat. Preferably transfer by pump or gravity.
7.1.2 Advice on general occupational Do not eat, drink and smoke in work areas. Wash hands after use. Remove
hygiene: contaminated clothing and protective equipment before entering eating areas.
7.2 Conditions for safe storage, including Store in a cool, ventilated warehouse, keep it well ventilated, away from fire,
any incompatibilities: heat, and direct sunlight. It should be stored separately from the oxidant. The

lighting, ventilation and other facilities in the storage room should be
explosion-proof and the switch should be placed outside the warehouse.
Equipped with the corresponding variety and quantity of fire-fighting equipment,
stacking should not be too high, should leave the wall distance, item spacing,
column spacing and necessary fire inspection aisles. It is forbidden to use
mechanical equipment and tools that are prone to sparks. It should be stored
separately from oxidants and food chemicals.
