O Simple Present é usado para:

1.​ Hábitos e rotinas: - I go to the gym ever day.


2.​ Fatos gerais: - The sun rises in the east.
3.​ Verdades universais: - Water boils at 00°C.

He/She/It → *works

Pergunta: O que muda no verbo para a conjugação da terceira pessoa?

Para verbos terminados em -o, -ch, -sh, -ss, -x, -z: adiciona-se -es*.

Verbos terminados em consoante + y: troca-se o y por -ies*.

study → studies carry → carries

Demais casos: adiciona-se -s.
