Andy Douglas and Danny Smith joined our Western Section winner from last month, Tony Almeida, who added another award to his collection. The teams notched 34 goals between them and also had very good disciplinary records in the month, a pre-requisite to these prestigious awards. Well done to the Managers and squads of players concerned. As always our grateful thanks are extended to sponsors, Aford Awards Ltd from Bearsted. THE F.A. CHARTER STANDARD CLUB AWARD Congratulations to Greenhill, Halstead and Hildenborough Athletic who have recently gained F.A. Charter Standard status. The evening proved beneficial and allowed an active Referee to discuss matters with Clubs whilst Management Members were also able to contribute. Joined up approaches such as these can only benefit all that attend these workshops as the more we work in partnership with one other the better the game and subsequently the players enjoyment will become. LEVEL 2 COACHING COURSE This course is due to take place at the ground of Bearsted F.C. commencing in May 2012 and follows on from the successful course we held at Faversham last season. A few spaces are left for participants to qualify for a 50% rebate on course fees but remember its only the first ten persons that are registered with a Kent County League Club at the time of booking and on successful completion of the course that qualify.
