Who is it for?
This is an internal application designed and developed typically for the employees, freelancers of Sonora.
If you are a Sonora employee and have not yet received any communication via your official email address
regarding the timesheet application link and login credentials, please reach out to hr@sonorasoftware.com.
• On entering the valid login credentials, the user will be directed to the homepage of Timesheet
application.

3. TimeSheet Navigation
4. Timesheet
A logged-in user can view their submitted timesheet entries, add new ones, or edit existing records within this
section.
User can navigate to this section from the main menu. Haver on the Timesheet tab, the sub-menu is
displayed.
Refresh Click to re-load the timesheet page. Latest modifications are then
visible on the dashboard when you click refresh.
• User can modify the fields and click on Add Task to add a new entry or Click Cancel to cancel the
operation.

4.1.3 Edit Timesheet Entry
User can modify the timesheet entry. However, the date cannot be modified. If the user by mistake has
entered the wrong date, deleting the record and adding a new entry is advisable.
Click on the edit icon near the entry you wish to edit. The record details are then available in edit mode.
This is the submenu from Timesheet tab. To view detailed timesheet report-
• Hover to the Timesheet tab.
• Click on Detailed Report.
Employee Select Employee Name. You can see employees assigned to you.
Report Type Select One of the radio buttons: Date Range / Monthly.
• Date Range: Displays records of entered date range.
• Monthly: Displays record month-wise.
Date Wise Check the checkbox if you wish to generate the report date-wise.
Task Type Select one of the radio buttons: All/ Billable/ Actuals.
Show Report Click on the Show Report button to view detailed report.
• When the user clicks on Show Report, the report is generated on the same page.
• Select Client.
• Select Employee.
• Select one of the radio buttons: ClientWise / EmployeeWise.
ClientWise: This report generates the sum of hours spent by the selected employees on each client.
EmployeeWise: Generates the sum of hours spent on the selected clients by each Employee.
• Select Report Type: Date Range / Monthly.
• Select Date.
• Select one of the radio buttons: All/ Billable/ Actuals.
• Click Show Report to generate and view the report or Click Send Mail to send the report to logged-in
users email id.
In the above report, the ClientWise option is selected. The report displays a breakdown of billable and
non-billable hours spent on each client by all Employees in mentioned date range.

• Report Type – Select one of the radio buttons - Date Range / Monthly.
• Select Date.
• Click on Show Report.
• The report displays a defaulter list for the date range mentioned.
• The report has an employee name along with Defaulted Date and Hours Worked.
• You can navigate through multiple pages in report or import the report into excel sheet.
• Select Client.
• Select Employee.
• Select one of the radio buttons – Date Range or Monthly.
• Select Date or Month.
• Click Search to view or manage billable hours.
• Click on Edit All button and Billable Hrs column is opened in editable mode.

To get the employee wise timecard report, Click on the plus sign ( ) marked near red dot .
The row gets expanded as below.
If you want to view timecard details of any particular employee, click on the plus sign ( ) to expand the
desired record.

Managers can further supervise the module-wise breakdown of hours for each client.
To view Timecard summary report, Click on Timesheet tab from main menu. Navigate to Timecard
Summary Report.
6. Leave
This menu has all the functionalities related to leaves. User can apply for leave, view the leave dashboard or
perform edit on records.
Hover on the Leave tab from the main menu, sub-menu is visible.
• Apply For Leave.
• Leave Dashboard.
• Select Manager.
• Select Leave Type.
o Earned Leave.
o LWP.
o Marriage Leave.
o Maternity Leave.
o Paternity Leave.
When the user applies for a leave, it goes to the reporting manager for their approval. The leave status can be
monitored from the leave dashboard.
To view Leave Dashboard, Click on Leave tab from main menu and navigate to Leave Dashboard.
• Click on Edit link in My Pending Approval Tasks to approve/ reject the leave.
• Select Employee.
• Select Report Type.
• Select Date.
• Check/Un-check Detailed Report.
• Click Show Report to generate the report. You can import the report into excel sheet.
This report divides total leaves into different categories such as Leave submitted, Leave Approved, Leave
without pay for each employee.

• Refer following report when Detailed Report checkbox is checked.
8. Admin Controls
This section covers all the functionality available for users with Admin role.
If you have Admin level access rights, the following options are available to you.

8.1.1 Add Client
Admin can add new Client into the system. Navigate to Client dashboard and click on Add Client link in the
upper right corner.
• Enter Client Name. You can not enter the existing client name. The name should be unique.
• Check/Un-check Is Active checkbox.
• Click Save to add the client.
• Click Cancel to cancel the operation.

8.1.2 Edit Client
Admin can edit the client details such as modify the name of change the status of the client.
Navigate to Client Dashboard and click on edit link in the client list.
Modify the details and click Save to commit the changes or Click Cancel to stop the operation.
• Click to edit the module. The extension is displayed under the same row.
• Edit the fields and click Update Module. Click Cancel to stop the operation.

• Click Assign Users to assign users to the module.
• To add users, move the user names from left frame to right frame. To remove the user from the
module, move the user from right frame to left frame. Click Save to save the changes.
• Select the Date and Click Search. Resource allocation for last 4 weeks is displayed.
