Class 5, 2nd Term, Math Questions

Ch-7 - Geometry Angles:

In geometry, an angle can be defined as the figure formed by two rays meeting at a
common point.

* Angles are measured in degrees, using a protractor.

* The symbol of degree (°), is used to write the angles. E.g. 60°, 45°

*The symbol of angles is written as (<). E.g. < ABC, < XYZ.

* Angles are named according to their sizes.

* Angles can be drawn using a protractor.

Types of angles:
1. Acute angle: An acute angle is less than 90°
A

B C

2. Right angle: A right angle is equal to 90°
