documents. He successfully connected the printer to the power source. Afterwards, he turned on the
printer. However, when he issued the command to print, the computer could not recognize the printer
to print the documents.
i. What could be the problem?
The computer might not have the necessary drivers installed for the printer, or the printer might
not be properly connected to the computer [1 mark]
ii. Suggest the possible solution Mr. Galyuon would need for the documents to be printed using
that printer.
Install the Printer Drivers. Ensure that the printer drivers are installed on the computer. [2 marks]
iii. What is the purpose of the solution you would suggest to Mr. Galyuon?
Installing the Printer Drivers: Printer drivers are necessary for the computer to communicate effectively
with the printer. Without the correct drivers, the computer will not recognize or be able to send print jobs
to the printer.
