JC International Limited conducted a visual examination of two chain hoists for Pacific Drilling on January 31, 2012. The examinations were performed according to relevant safety regulations by examiner Godwin Bassey, who holds LEEA, SNT LEVEL II MT, PT & UT qualifications. No defects were found in the 8mm x 30ft, 2-ton chain hoist or the 6mm x 30ft, 1-ton chain hoist, and both were determined to be fit for use. The next scheduled examinations are July 30, 2012.
