New implementations under C-TAP10.1 will support the V10.1 network types as well as the
specification update that provides the acquiring host with the Network Profile in the C-PAR.
Host implementations will continue to accept the V10.0 network types until further notice to achieve
backward compatibility with the V10.0 terminals.
Next to the Network Type, the data tables provide also the value for the Network Profile that will be
supported as of C-TAP v10.1. The Acquirer can optionally define a specific value (HEX range ‘01’ to ‘FE’)
for each, a group or all of its defined network profiles. If the value is not defined by the Acquirer it will
be ‘00’ by default.
In the tables possible options for TLS can be N(Not Used) or M(Mandatory) and the possible options
for TSC can be N(Not Used); M(Mandatory) or O(Optional but mandatory when capable).
The application host is always made aware of active TSC support by the terminal messaging.
In the tables the Network Types that use the same data & contact information are grouped together,
although they might theoretically have different values for the Network Profile; TLS and TSC.
TLS 1.2 is Mandatory for all network types that use open internet. Consequently the connection
parameters for GPRS Premium Internet/“Zakelijk” (T-PI); GPRS Open Internet (T-OI); Premium
Internet/“Zakelijk” (E-PI) and Open Internet (E-OI) that have ‘N’ as TLS indicator shall be removed
from the common parameters of September 2020 when there is an alternative or in the common
parameters of March 2021 when a new port needs to be defined. Terminal vendors are encouraged
to use as of this publication the connection parameters with TLS 1.2 set as ‘M’ if this port is available.

Worldline Terminals that must migrate in Open Internet from connection “euroconex.payment.banksys.be”
to connection “ipconex.elavon.com” shall use the parameters defined for acquirer 00059951 Elavon WL-
MIGRAT.
5
Note : ONLY FOR Worldline Terminals that must migrate in Open Internet from connection
“euroconex.payment.banksys.be” to connection “ipconex.elavon.com”. All other terminal vendors shall
ignore below defined parameters.
