REPORT ON ECO-SMART BOTTLE

The international company you work for has recently developed a new product. Your
manager has asked you to write a report about this for Head Office. You should
describe briefly the product, evaluate how successful it has been so far in your region
and suggest ways in which more customers could be attracted to purchase the new
product.

INTRODUCTION

The aim of this report is to describe the new product released, focusing on its
details and the impact it has had in our local community. Additionally, the report will
provide recommendations to enhance customers interest and support sales growth.

Description of the product

Eco-Smart Bottle is a reusable water bottle that incorporates smart features such
as temperature control and an ultimate-generation system cap. It was created in
sustainability and user health values and its filler-cap is covered with renewable
materials. Besides, the product connects to a mobile app, allowing users to control their
water intake, receive reminders and their hydration percentages. Its creative design and
eco-friendly materials make it particularly attractive to environmentally conscious
consumers.

Evaluating product success

Since its coming-out, the product has achieved moderate success. Approximately
the half of the production have been sold, with the majority of sales coming from urban
areas. Feedback from customers has been largely positive. Most users highlight the
bottle’s innovative technology, comfort, and colourful design as product strengths.
However, a common concern is the relatively high retail price, which some potential
customers consider a barrier. Furthermore, awareness of the product remains limited in
rural communities and among older consumers, which may be affecting its overall reach.

SUGGESTIONS

To embrace the product image between customers, it is necessary to strengthen


marketing efforts. Emphasising the product’s environmental benefits and long-term life
may help justify the price point. Partnerships with local businesses with help rural
customers to get access to our product and will assure long-term sales.
