Ro-Cleaner Guide
Ro-Cleaner Guide
Discord banned
Ro-Cleaner.
Despite being used by 23,000 servers to protect Roblox users from child predators,
Discord banned the bot for targeting people based on “protected characteristics.” The
only characteristic that Ro-Cleaner targeted people based on was being a member of a
server dedicated to uploading sexual content to Roblox, a platform where 40% of the
users are under 13.
A new bot is in the works that addresses Discord’s complaints. Subscribe to the channel
to stay up to date on the development. Expect an announcement in early May.
RO-CLEANER
A guide to Ruben Sim’s anti-condo Discord bot.
This bot gives you the ability to ban members of NSFW Roblox Discord servers from any
server you add it to. Ro-Cleaner is currently in over 17,000 servers and tracking nearly
300,000 condo players. It's trusted by top Roblox games such as Combat Warriors, Sol's
RNG, Toilet Tower Defense, Blue Lock: Rivals, State of Anarchy, Deadline, Catalog Avatar
Creator, and Decaying Winter, top YouTubers such as Kreekcraft, Sharkblox, and STUDS,
and major development studios such as Strigid, Suppression Studios, and Anti Boredom.
Installation
1. Open this link and add the bot to your server. Leave all settings as-is.
2. Click your server’s name and open Server Settings.
3. IMPORTANT!! Open your Roles page and drag the bot’s role above any role you
want it to be able to ban. Any user with a role above the bot won’t be banned by it.
Commands
● /scan - Scans the server for users who’ve been found in condo servers and
generates a report.
● /banflagged - Bans all of the flagged users with a customizable ban reason. New
accounts are frequently added to Ro-Cleaner’s database so I strongly recommend
running this command once a week.
● /autoban - Automatically scans every new server member to see if they’re flagged
and bans them if they are. Creates a notification.
NOTE: If a flagged user leaves all of their condo servers, the check command
will return “User is not in any mutual guilds.” If this result is returned for the
check command, but the user is still flagged with the scan command, this means
they were previously found in condo servers as recently as January 2025, but have
since left.
Troubleshooting
Solution: Hit Ctrl+R to refresh Discord and try again.
Solution: Move the bot’s role higher in the server role settings, as shown in Step 3
of the Installation section. If the issue persists, make sure other bots aren’t
flagging it.
4. You do not have the required permissions to use this command
Solution: Create a role for yourself with “Administrator” and “Server
Management” permissions enabled and try again. If the issue persists, kick the bot
and re-invite it using the link in Step 1 of the Installation section.
5. Running the /scan command returns a “Starting scan. This may take some time.”
message but nothing happens
Check the permissions for the channel you’re running the command in and make
sure Ro-Cleaner has “View Channel”, “Send Messages” and “Attach Files” enabled.
