User Manual

Preface
Thank you for purchasing our stretch film wrapping machine, this manual described
machine usage and operation precautions, to ensure that you can correctly use the
machine, and improve the service life of the machine, please read this manual before using,
if technical update leads to manual content change, we will not send prior notice.
XT series film wrapping machine adopts LLDPE stretch film as packing material to
pack large and heavy or artistic face package. By that way it can keep package from dust,
damp and damage. During transportation package won't scatter and fall down. It is widely
used in printing, paper making, chemical industry, food and transportation etc. Packed
article is compact and beautiful.

The safety attention


Before you enjoy the convenience of work our machine brings to you, first,please pay
attention to several safety precautions
1、Install the device according to the installation diagram, technical description, and
technical requirements;
2、Be careful when installing and move the machine to avoid any injuries for the high and
heavy post;
3、Please confirm that the power supply meets the electricity requirements,And reliably
grounded;
4、Power line access and machine maintenance should be carried out by professional
technical people;
5、There are high voltages in electricity box,Do not open it for non-professional personnel
to avoid electric shock
6、Inspecting or repairing the machine should be start after the machine power is cut off
for more than 5 minutes, otherwise there would be risks of electric shock;
7、Keep the machine body well connected to ground with proper earthing nodes to avoid
electric shock;
8、Keep the labels on machine intact. Do not depart any safety devices on machine;
9、Do not change parameter on inverter;
10、When the machine is running, people shall not get close to turntable.

Specifications
The machine adopts PLC+ 4-line LCD man-machine interface display integrated control system,
which can carry out wrapping and packing of various processes. It has the characteristics of stable
performance, simple operation and reliable use. The program will not be lost for more than 50 years。
Technical parameters:

1、Power:220V/50HZ/1.2KW(Pre-stretch film carriage);220V/50HZ/1.0KW(Brake film carriage)



2、Turntable motor: 0.75KW,Speed: 0-10 R/min;
3、Lift motor: 0.25KW;
4、Pre-stretch motor: 0.18KW;
5、Turntable Diameter:1500mm(can be customized);
6、Package weight:50-1500KG;
7、Package height:2100mm(can be customized);
8、Pneumatic top pressing device(optional);
9、Turntable rotating direction: clock-wise;

Machine features
This machine adopts PLC+4 line LCD text display integrated controller, artificial
intelligence programming, with perfect system operation instructions and fault diagnosis
and protection system, can real-time monitor the machine operation and hardware running
status, and intelligent diagnosis, convenient for customers to use and maintenance.
 1,6 modes: that’s 5 automatic modes + 1 manual mode
 2,The electric driving part of the machine adopts the stepless frequency conversion
speed regulation technology, which can reduce energy consumption and save
resources。
 3,The film carriage adopts close loop self-adjusting technology, to ensure each
package is evenly wrapped.(20-1500KG)。
 4,Strong safety protection function, the system can intelligent monitoring of its own
hardware, and the external emergency stop button, in case of emergency, can cut off
all actions, to ensure personal safety.

XT4505 Multi-model Control system operation instructions
1,Machine screen description:

Under this screen, press "0" to enter the Chinese "Mode selection" screen; Press "1" to enter the
English "Mode Selection" screen

In this screen, press "1" - "6" to enter the corresponding mode, in which "1" - "5" is the automatic
mode, "6" is the manual operation mode; Press ESC to return to the Select Language page

Press ESC to return to the Mode Selection page.

Bottom cycles:First letter is set point, setting range:1-9 cycles


Press SET key to SET, ENTER key to confirm, the last bit is the dynamic display value

Top cycles:First letter is set value, setting range:1-9 cycles


Press SET key to SET, ENTER key to confirm, the last bit is the dynamic display value

Up and down cycle:“1”is upward,2 is downward,First letter is set point, setting range:1-9 cycles
Press SET key to SET, ENTER key to confirm, the last bit is the dynamic display value

Middle cycle:First letter is set value, setting range:1-9 cycles。


Press SET key to SET, ENTER key to confirm, the last bit is the dynamic display value;(See item 2
of the function description)

Electric eye delay time:Setting range:0-99*0.1S,factory Settings are:15*0.1S;
(Adjusting parameters of film frame rising beyond the height of packaging)

Top cover choose,F1 key on PLC can change this option to "use" or "do not use";

The top of the package is covered with film for selection , F2 key on PLC can change this
option to "use" or "do not use";
(Used when the top of the package needs to be covered with packaging film)
In the automatic mode screen (automatic mode 1-5), when the machine is in standby state, F3
manually rises/stops, F4 manually drops/stops, F6 turntable, top cover returns to zero, F8 automatically
starts and F7 machine stops (the function of F7 key is to interrupt all output of the machine and make
the machine return to standby state).

In the manual mode screen (mode 6), when the machine is on standby, F3 manually rises/stops, F4
manually drops/stops, F5 manually gland down/up, F6 turntable, press cover zero, F8 automatically
starts, F7 turntable,top cover zero (Top cover zero automatically after the turntable positioning stops).

When the emergency stop button is pressed, the screen enters the emergency stop display page and
returns to the front screen after releasing the button.

When the turntable frequency conversion alarm is triggered, the picture enters the turntable alarm
page. The machine stops all action and the turntable converter displays an error code. According to the
frequency converter error code, we can find the cause of the fault. After troubleshooting, the machine
will not display this page, and the machine can work normally

When the lifting frequency converter alarm is triggered, the screen enters the lifting alarm page, at
which time the machine will stop all actions and the lifting frequency converter will display error codes.
According to the frequency converter error code, we can find the cause of the fault. After
troubleshooting, the machine will not display this page, and the machine can work normally.
2,function description
1.Top laminating waiting function:
Top laminating feature is selected:
a.Top press was selected, the first time the film carriage rise to the top of the package, film carriage
download automatically, after 3 seconds,turntable and film carriage stop, top cover rise to zero( enter
into Top press waiting status),after manual top laminating finish, press the start button or F8 key, Top
cover press to the set position ,turntable will start, film carriage upward automatically,after 3
seconds,enter into top wrapping process...
b. When no top pressing is used,only top cover up and down function is not work, others are the same.
2.Middle strengthening function:
In the process of automatic operation, when the film carriage is in the rising state, press the STAR
button or F8 key to strengthen the packaging in the middle part of the local packaging, strengthening
number of turns can be determined by the set value, if the set value is not finished ,then press the STAR
button or F8 can cancel the strengthening in the middle, restore the automatic rising state.
3,Notes
1.In the automatic running state, all parameter Settings do not affect the current running program, only
take effect at the next startup.
2.Whether the machine is manually turned off or accidentally power off, it will automatically restore to
the mode picture used last time after the next boot.
3.All the parameters set in the machine have power off memory function, which can be directly called
when the customer starts using it next time.
4.After the machine is shut down, please wait for about 10 seconds to start up again, in case the
machine cannot operate normally because the inverter is not reset.
4,Method of use of electronic scale
The electronic scale has 4 gravity sensors, which are installed in the four corners of the turntable.
The digital display screen is adopted. The weighing accuracy can reach ±0.05Kg, and the printer is
equipped with 55*35 label printing paper
①、The installation site of the machine turntable is flat. Ensure that the four sensors of the electronic
scale fully touch the ground without shaking. Tighten the nuts
②、Turn on the main power switch of the machine and switch on the electronic scale display screen.
③、Clean the disc and turntable. At this time, the electronic scale display on the screen should be 0.00.
If the value is close to 0, press ZERO after the value becomes stable to correct the electronic scale and
make the display value 0.00

④、Put the goods on the turntable and when the value is stable, the displayed value is the weight of the
goods (the default unit is Kg). Press the PRINT key on the display screen to PRINT;

⑤、Peeling and weighing method: put the TARE object on the turntable, press TARE button when the
value becomes stable, and the value on the screen changes to 0.00. Then put the goods on the
turntable, and press PRINT button when the value becomes stable,Press the PRINT key to print.
Note: at this time, there are two modes of gross weight and net weight displayed on the
screen. Press the key to switch
⑥、 Method to delete TARE weight: remove all the goods from the disk, press TARE key, the screen
value becomes 0.00;
⑦、Weighing UNIT switch: Press the UNIT key to switch weighing units, which can be switched to Kg, lb,
oz respectively.

Operation preparation and trial packing


1,preparation of operation
a、Loading the film reel onto the holder and wind the film according to picture(See picture 6-1,6-2,
6-3),Switch on main power。
b 、 Observe whether the turntable is located at the starting position, whether the film frame is at the
bottom, whether the top pressing device is at the highest position of the column, if necessary, the F8 key
can be used to reset the above device.
2,program setting
Set packing process parameters according to packing process. Including the value
SET1 of the lower packaging cycles, SET2 of the upper packaging cycle number and the

number of packaging layers, move back and forth value SET3
3,Packing test
Put cargo on the turntable,Adjust the knob of rotary frequency converter INV1 and
lifting frequency converter INV2 properly (it has been adjusted before delivery) to make the
winding film on the packaging smooth, even tension and with stable speed.According to
the trial packaging situation, record the relevant data, through multiple trial packaging to
achieve the reasonable setting of packaging process parameters. Formal packaging
operation, after the completion of trial packaging operation, retain trial packaging process
parameters, packaging.

Equipment installation and moving
Installation notice:
1.In order to ensure the normal operation of the machine, the installation environment
should be firm, smooth and without vibration. In order to improve the service life of the
machine, the room should be free of dust and corrosive gas.
2.Minimum installation space requirements:see figure 9-1
3.After the machine is delivered to the installation site, open the wooden box, three pieces
of the machine can be seen. (Four large pieces for the model with pressing device) see
Figure 9-2
4.Place the turntable on the ground for connection with the column, which is high and has
a certain weight, shall be careful when assembling.
5.When the machine with pressing device is installed, the horizontal position should be
adjusted to ensure that the center of the pressing plate and the center of the turntable are
on the same axis
6.Check other connection parts, if electrical wiring is loose or have loose parts
7.Be sure to provide a correct, stable and reliable power supply. Temporary wires are
strictly prohibited.
8.Connect the motor line and sensor lead according to the corresponding line number,
connect the power supply, confirm correct and grounding detection before the machine test.
When connecting, pay attention to the positive and negative directions of the motor in
manual state.
9.Check all limit switches, limit stops for damage and in correct position
10.Turn on the power supply, air switch in the electrical cabinet and the control power
switch on the operating board in sequence, and the machine is in standby state after
power-on self-test, and can be debugging.

Installation Steps
1. Mechanically connecting the turntable to the column, tighten the screws. As shown in
figure 9
2.Then the connection between the column and the film frame. As shown in figure 9-4
3.Assemble electrical connections of various components, see the circuit diagram

Debugging
After the right installation, now, begin to debug your machine.。
1,Preparation for debugging, supply power 220V 50HZ 10A, single-way, well connected to
ground
2,Try to run the turntable and film carriage,top press device under manual model.
A,Turntable: run steadily, no abnormal noise, Motor works well
B,Film carriage: Moving up and down steadily, No abnormal noise, feed film well. If
pre-pull equipment installed, motor for it should work steadily.
C,Film pulling mechanism requirements: film tensioning force is consistent, film
uniform
D,Requirements for the top pressing device: the external air source pressure is
guaranteed to be above 6-8kg/cm2, the pneumatic action is accurate and in place, the top
pressure spring is adjusted freely, and there is no abnormal noise when the top is pressed
up and down.
3、After the end of single debugging, start the whole machine debugging.
(1)After the debugging of 1, 2 items of the whole machine, combined with the actual
performance of the purchased machine to carry out the system of all functions of the
machine。
(2)If some functions fail to meet the requirements during debugging, troubleshooting
can be carried out according to the relevant contents of simple faults and troubleshooting
countermeasures。

Maintenance
Note: all machine maintenance work should be carried out under the condition of power
failure.
1、Keep the machine clean with dry cloth and detergent. Do not use solvent water and
gasoline cleaning. Do not wash the machine with water to prevent rust; Do not touch the
paint surface of the machine to improve the service life of the machine
2、According to the use of the machine, the user can carry out the maintenance work of
the machine regularly for 3-6 months, clear the dust inside the machine, check the
tightness of the chain and lubricate the chain, so as to ensure the normal operation of the
machine.
