Step 1: Access the Consular Service Portal

(CSP)
Go to the Consular Service Portal website.

Step 2: Complete your Videx application


online and upload supporting documents
Complete the Videx application form online and upload all application supporting
documents and the payment declaration via the Consular Service Portal. To submit
your visa application and your documents, you must pay the TLScontact’s Service
fee and Visa fee.

To proceed with your national D visa application, you will be asked to complete the
following steps:

1. Download the form ‘Declaration for Service Fee and Visa Fee – Online Visa
Application’ from our website by clicking here.
2. Read and sign the declaration.
3. Upload the declaration to the Consular Services Portal under ‘Your
Documents’.
4. Once this is complete, you can submit your visa application.

Step 3: Review of your Videx application and


supporting documents
A TLScontact agent will review your Videx application and supporting documents
for completeness and accuracy.
You will be notified if any supporting documents are missing or if any information
needs to be corrected.

Step 4: Pre-book an appointment at the Visa
application centre
Once your application has been successfully validated by TLScontact staff, you will
be able to pre-book an appointment at the Visa application centre in Cairo.

Step 5: Create an account and complete the


online form
Create an account on the TLScontact website.
Log in to your account and complete the online form.

Step 6: Pay service fees to complete your


appointment booking
Service fees can be paid either online or in Fawry stores during the appointment
booking process.
Visa fees are to be paid at the Visa application centre on the day of the
appointment.

Step 7: Attend your appointment and your


submit documents
Attend your appointment on the date and time booked and submit your biometric
data and original application documents, if applicable.

Step 8: Receive notification of visa decision


Once the German Consulate has made a decision on your visa application, you will
be notified by SMS and email as soon as your passport has been returned to the
Visa application centre.
