India is the seventh largest country in the world.


The population of India is 144 crore.
There are 28 states and 8 union territories in India.
It is a part of the Asian continent.
The six major physical divisions of India are the Northern Mountains, the
Northern Plains, the Great Indian Desert, the Southern Plateaus, the Coastal
Plain and the Islands.

SDG/UAE CONNECT
SDG 6:-Clean water and Sanitation - Desalination plants
Due to the lack of freshwater sources,it is important for the UAE to identify a
sustainable desalination solution to meet long- term water needs.
SDG 13:-Climate Action
COP 28
Cop 28 is a big meeting in the UAE where people from all over the world come
together to talk about how to take care of our planet.The UAE is hosting of cop
28built on the country's track record of action to meet the global climate
challenge.

Imagine you are living in a city near the mountains in India.How do you think the
mountains might affect your daily life?

Level 1: How many continents are there in the World? What are they?
Level 2: How many physical divisions are there in India? What are they?
Level 3: India has first most populated country in the world. What
challenges face with its growing population?
