III Semester Project Report Guidelines


Technical Learning/Training will provide a great opportunity for students to expand their skills
and knowledge. It will help individuals work more effectively and efficiently while opening new
career opportunities and technical knowledge is most important to management students to
compete with multifaceted competitive Technological environment.

Ref: As per the Approved Guidelines of the Internship of BCU-PG-CBCS,2019

Students can undergo Learning project after the 2nd semester examinations along with the 3rd
semester classes. The project will be completed along with the 3rd semester classes, As per the
Regulations the internship is for 2 credits, with a minimum requirement of 30 hours. Students
will submit a project report as per calendar of Events.

Guidelines:

1. Students must obtain prior approval from the college Director/Principal for the
proposed training and College should send Student Registration form to BCUSMS,
enclosed with the guidelines.
2. Training must focus on building practical knowledge and skills relevant to the student's
area (on any one of the chosen Specialization) of study.
3. Students can undertake training related to using software or operating machinery or
programming language or developing websites or building mobile applications or
building data analytics models or building product or service prototypes and so on.
4. Training must be conducted by institutes recognized by the Government of India,
Government of Karnataka, or any recognized company /training Institutions. It can be
completed online / offline / hybrid mode.
5. Students must choose recognized organizations such as Google, Deloitte, Genpact, or
other globally recognized organizations.

6. Training projects will be allowed provided they are from recognized or authorized online
platforms like TCS iON, Skill India Digital, Coursera, Udemy, edX or other popular and
approved platforms in India.
7. Students must complete a minimum of 30 hours of training along with the 3rd semester
classes.
8. Each training project will have two guides, one internal guide (faculty member from the
institution) and one external guide (industry expert or trainer from the training institute).
9. Students must submit Attendance records and Assessment reports from the training
institute to the college, along with progress reports, and a day wise work diary, which
will be cross verified by the internal guide.
10. Students must submit the final project report, which should not exceed 40 pages
