Our Partner is an Ireland-based innovative, award winning SaaS startup on a mission to

reduce greenhouse gas emissions and transport costs through specialised route
optimisation solutions. To fuel their ambitious growth plans we are looking for a Full-Stack
Java Developer to join their team in Hungary.

Full Stack Java Engineer

About the role


As a Full Stack Developer at our partner, you will work on a modern, cloud-native B2B SaaS
platform. As a member of an agile team you'll take part in the development of responsive
web applications and work with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure.
You will find yourself working as part of a distributed virtual team, liaising with UX designers
and commercial executives for the ultimate goal of designing and building loveable,
commercial cloud products and services that are derived from an understanding of the
business, its actors and the technology building blocks. You'll continuously learn new
technologies and keep up with the innovations in the technology space.

Requirements:
●​ At least 2-3 years of experience in software development.
●​ Experience with the following or similar technologies: Java, Azure/AWS/GCP,
Terraform, Kubernetes or similar platforms and tools, Postgresql or similar dbs,
React, UI5 or other frontend framework, Spring or similar backend framework.
●​ Experience in cloud (e.g. Azure).
●​ Has a good overview of the technology landscape.
●​ Knowledgeable in using development tools, testing frameworks and techniques.
●​ Ability to deliver cloud-native web applications from setting up developer
infrastructure to polishing features.
●​ Strong desire to improve upon your skills in software development, frameworks and
technologies.
●​ Ability to work independently and with others.
●​ Proficiency in English.

Nice to have:
●​ BSc or MSc degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent field.
●​ Experience working with high load and/or high traffic production systems.
●​ Experience with Azure.
●​ Experience with Node.JS, Next.JS.
