RCC Institute of Information Technology (RCCIIT), set up in 1999

through a unique joint venture of Govt. of India and Govt. of West
Bengal, is now the only self-financing engineering college under
State administrative control. Run by an autonomous Society of
the State Govt. in Higher Education Dept., RCCIIT is one of the
oldest engineering colleges in the State and ranks within top 10
colleges.

RCCIIT is not only known for good academic practice and

consistent placement of its students, it is also an Institute with
values. It follows all relevant govt. rules with absolute
transparency and equity in policy. It takes care of its staff and
students based on the values of humanity and compassion. By
creating a congenial and inclusive work environment it provides
opportunities beyond
academics to help students achieve their full

 PROLOUGE
Regalia is the Annual Cultural Fest of RCCIIT, which is a highly
anticipated event among the college students and faculties. The
fest is scheduled to be held in the month of May.

Regalia 2025 fest promises to be an exciting and colorful

extravaganza of music, dance, drama, fashion show and more.
There will be a wide range of events and activities, including a
fashion show, a group dance competition, a battle of bands, a
singing competition and more.
The fest will also feature performances by renowned artists and
celebrities. The organizing committee of Regalia 2025 has put in
months of effort and planning to ensure that the fest is a grand
success and provides a memorable experience for all
participants.

2. Using any slippery substance, fire or coloured powered on stage will lead

4. Time limit for the performance will be 5+2minutes. Exceeding time limit
will lead to disqualification.
5. The audio and props list should be mailed prior to the event.
6. Any theme is allowed but mockery of religious or political sentiments is
strictly prohibited.

1. Performance Time: Each participant gets 5 minutes for their performance, plus 2 minutes for setup.
2. No Headphones/Earphones: Use of any such devices during the performance is strictly prohibited.
3. No Lyrics Reference: Participants cannot refer to lyrics while singing.
4. Rounds: The competition consists of two rounds—Prelims and Finals.
5. Judging Criteria: Participants will be judged on:
Composition selection
Voice quality
Clarity
Rhythm
Pitch perfection
Audience appeal.
6. Musical Instruments: Participants must bring their own instruments if required. No accompanying
instrumentalists are allowed.
7. Electronic Instruments: If needed, participants can bring their own electronic Tanpura, electronic Tabla, Digital
Swarmandal, or other accompanying instrument apps.
8. Backing Tracks: Any track to be played during the performance must be submitted beforehand to the event
coordinator via email.
9. Age Limit: Participants must be between 18-26 years old.

1. The bands might perform original compositions, covers, or a combination of both. It is preferred, though not
mandatory, that each band includes one original piece and one rendition, if feasible.
2. Number of Members on Team: 4–8. It is necessary to have at least one vocalist and two to three different
instrumentalists. Inter-college participation is permitted.
3. Time Limit: 12 minutes from an empty stage to an empty stage (10 minutes performance + 2 minutes soundcheck).
4. Songs can be in any language – Bengali, Hindi, or English. Swearing or profanity on stage will lead to immediate
disqualification.
5. The types of equipment provided will be:

For safety purposes, it is advised to have the audio in your phone or pen drive.
8.Vulgarity or obscenity will not be tolerated and shall lead to immediate disqualification.
9. Inflammable items are not allowed. The team must clear the stage once they are done with their
performance.
10. The performances will be graded according to the judge's score (holding the maximum
weightage) and audience reaction.
11. All the participants should be within the age limit of 18-26 years. You need to carry any one of

keywords if required)

Unleash Your Creativity!
We’re giving you the wall, the theme is open, and the rest is up to your imagination (well…
almost!). Here are the rules to keep it fun and fair:

1)Theme:
You're free to paint anything! Express your creativity—no fixed theme limits your imagination.
2)What’s NOT Allowed:
No depiction or use of intoxicants (alcohol, cigarettes, weed, etc.).
No political symbols, parties, or events.
Strictly no nudity or explicit content.
3)Background Setup:
All walls will start with a plain white background—your canvas is clean and ready.

Registration is offline only and will be accepted on a first-come, first-serve basis.
A total of 10 photographers will be selected to participate.
Selection will be based on photography skills – participants must submit one of their best photographs
during registration for evaluation.
2)Participation Guidelines:
This is a completely offline event – no online submissions or participation will be allowed.
All participants must carry and use their own cameras. Mobile photography is prohibited
3)Photography Rules:
Photos must be original, taken by the participant on the event day only.
Every photograph must clearly include a defined subject (person, object, moment, etc.).
Participants are allowed to photograph the event only – capturing content outside the event scope is
strictly prohibited.
4)Event Access:
Selected photographers will receive a day pass to the event.
Passes are valid only for the specific day assigned to each participant.
5)General Conduct:
Participants must follow instructions given by the event organizers at all times.
Avoid obstructing or disturbing performances or guests while capturing photos.
Respect privacy and maintain professional behavior throughout the event.
