Placement Rules and Regulations

Placement Rules and Regulations will be applicable to all students registered for the internship
/placements of Lavonne Academy:
The role of the Placement cell is of a facilitator and counselor for placement related activities. Placement
cell does NOT guarantee a job. Applying for a company or joining a company is entirely the
responsibility/decision of the student concerned.

1. Register with the Placement cell to sit for Campus Placements.


2. Fill up the application provided completely. Always be in possession of your ID card and carry a
concise one-page or two-page resume on the day of interview.
3. Once registered, you must go through the entire Interview process with the Placement cell. Failure to
do so could invite debarment from future internships / placements.
4. If a student is found doctoring his/her resume submitted at Placement cell, his/her registration at
Placement cell will be cancelled immediately.
5. Details of the company's recruitment procedure viz. resumes submission deadlines, written tests if
any and date for interviews etc. along with the details of the stipend offered will also be put up (if
available).
6. A student offered an internship through Placement cell must accept/reject the offer prior to the date
specified by the company.
7. If a student accepts the training routed through the institute, then he or she is expected to complete the
full tenure of training, failing to do so may result in strict action from institute.
8. Any student found to have breached any of these rules or secured an internship and not informed the
placement office of the same will be debarred from the placement process.
9. Internship offer has to be routed through the Placement cell & copy of the offer letter has to be
submitted to the placement cell.
10. The Placement cell has no policy of interference with off-campus applications to companies.
However you are required to provide the requisite contacts of any off-campus recruiters.
11. Students accepting or denying an internship will have to immediately notify the Placement cell.
12. Students having more than 85 % attendance are only eligible to go through the placement process
from the institute
13. Appear for any of the Placement related processes in proper formal clothing as instructed.
Note:
The above rules are subject to change as and when the Placement cell deems fit. All changes would
be adequately notified.
On all matters not covered by the above rules, the Placement Office shall act on its discretion and its
decision would be binding on all parties.

Any violation in the above guidelines by any student will be viewed very seriously and may result in
withholding C&G , NSDC/THSC certificates till training completion certificate is submitted.

I ................................................... have understood the above mentioned rules & regulations and will
abide by the same. In case of non completion of internship necessary action as per the placement
rules can be taken against me.
