Dear Sir:

Please may I be excuse for not attending our Physical Education Class today because I
have a very important family event to attend. It is a combined celebration of a birthday and
christening of my nephew. This event holds great significance for my family and I cannot miss
it. I apologize for any inconvenience caused and I will make sure to catch up on any missed
assignments or lectures. If there are any materials or assignments that I should be aware of
during my absence, please let me know so that I can make the necessary arrangements. Thank
you for your understanding. I promise that I will attend our next meeting.
