Aldar Environmental Observation Report - 158 Infill Plots
Executive Summary
An Environmental Inspection was conducted for 158 Infill Plots project, on 28th April 2025 during
11:00 am to 1:00 pm. It was conducted and accompanied by an ALDAR Environmental Consultant,
KBR Environmental & Sustainability Manager, KBR OSH Manager, KA OSH Engineer and NPC OSH
Manager and OSH Officer.
Project site activity areas and Waste Management, First Aid Facility and Chemical Store were
inspected for 158 Infill Plots project at Al Falah.
Five observations were issued and raised to KBR, WBG and NPC for immediate corrective and
preventive action.
All corrective and preventive actions must be closed and submitted by 8th May -2025

Observation Category: Spill Prevention & Response
Observation-1:
1.1 During the inspection noticed large spillages at diesel
generators unattended, no spill-kits provided, and other
spill-kits used for site trash.
1.2 Chemical drums stored with improper bunding with no
spill trays inside hazardous store.
Observation-2:
Noticed leakages at Septic portable tanks leading to ground
2 contamination, also Suction hose pipe used for transfer of
sewage waste for disposal found uncovered placed on bare
soil.
Observation-3:
During site inspection found unsegregated waste and food
waste collected on bare soil without environmental
3 preventive measures. Waste skips with no signages and no
safety barricades on site.
Observation-4:
Noticed large quantity of cementitious mortar dumped on
bare soil leading to contamination. Also, kerb-cutting
cementitious wastewater not proper collected or disposed.

Action (s) to be taken (but not limited to):
1. Cementitious or mortar mix to be stored off-ground on
permeable surface or use mixing-trays to prevent the
contamination by mixing with soil.
2. Demolition waste / concrete waste to be collected only at
NPC
designated waste collection area with proper signages A
KA/KBR
and barricading. Waste recycles percentage target to be
achieved as per requirement.
Observation-5:
5.1 Observed large dust generated on internal logistic roads
whereas project has residential area nearby the work
site.
5.2 At Medical First-Aid facility observed medical waste is
being generated and collected in separate skips as per
requirements, but no ESP contract or disposal records
available by project team.
