5. 1.40 hrs. Invited guests take their seats.

6. 2.00 hrs. Graduands Procession led by Mr. Joseph Chagoma,


Assistant Registrar (Academic and Planning),
processes into the Hall preceded by the Band
playing:

7. 2.50 hrs. Council Members assemble for robbing at Grand


Palace Boardroom.

8. 2.55 hrs. Honourable Bennex Mwamlima, Member of


Parliament for Mzuzu City; His Worship Councilor
Kondwani Brian Nyasulu, Mayor of Mzuzu City; Mr.
Gomezgani Nyasulu, Chief Executive Officer of
Mzuzu City Council; Mr. Rodgers Newa, District
Commissioner for M’mbelwa District Council, and
Inkosi Ya Makhosi M’mbelwa V take their seats.

9. 3.00 hrs. Honourable Dr. Jessie Kabwila, Minister of Higher


Education is escorted by the Chairperson of Council,
the Vice-Chancellor and the University Registrar to
the Robing Room.

10. 3.05 hrs. Senate Procession assembled by the Director of
Research, Professor Fanuel Kapute, processes into
the Hall:

11. 3.10 hrs. Council Procession and visiting dignitaries


Assembled by Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Professor
Wapulumuka Mulwafu, processes into the Hall:

12. 3:15 hrs. Vice-Chancellor’s Procession led by Mr. Yonamu


Ngwira, University Registrar, comprising
Ambassador Hawa Ndilowe, Chairperson of
Council; Dr. Levis Eneya, Secretary for Higher
Education; Honourable Dr. Jessie Kabwila,
Minister of Higher Education, and the Vice-
Chancellor, Professor Wales Singini, processes into
the Hall.
