SUBJECT:- Work of Modification of existing CW Pump suction strainers installed at 3x660MW KTPS
Units, Koradi urgently on Short Open Tender basis.

1) SOLVENCY CERTIFICATE-VALUE OF SOLVENCY EQUAL 50 % OF ESTIMATED COST

2) ESIC REGISTRATION CERTIFICATE. -------- Please refer Special Terms & Conditions.

3) GST REGISTRATION CERTIFICATE

4) PROVIDENT FUND REGISTRATION CERTIFICATE

5) LABOUR LICENCE -------- Please refer Special Terms & Conditions.

QUALIFYING REQUIREMENTS »
1) Average Annual financial turnover during the last 3 years ending 31st March of the previous
financial year, should be at least 30% of the estimated cost.
2) Experience of having successfully completed similar works during last 7 years ending last day of
month previous to the one in which applications are invited should be either of the following :-
a) Three similar completed works each costing not less than the amount equal to 40% of the
estimated cost.
OR
b) Two similar completed works each costing not less than the amount equal to 50% of the
estimated cost.
OR
c) One similar completed work costing not less than the amount equal to 80% of the estimated cost.
3. Definition of similar nature means Bidder should have experienced in “the work of modification of
critical auxiliaries in 200 MW or above capacity unit at MSPGCL / NTPC / SEB’s/ Public Sector
undertaking / Central Power Generation Company / (Approved sub vendor of EPC/Turnkey /BoT
contractor of MAHAGENCO
However this Approved sub vendor of EPC/Turnkey contractor shall be qualified only if following
conditions are fulfilled.
1. Confirmation / Concurrence from MAHAGENCO.
2. Shall have order from EPC/Turnkey/BoT contractor.
3. Shall have the execution certificate clearly indicating the successful execution
of the order.

NOTE:-

Bid evaluation: - Bidders are requested to note that, the evaluation of bids will be done on the basis of basic
work order values (i.e. excluding service taxes applicable).

SPECIAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS.

ESIC>> If the contract is Annual maint. Contract (AMC) the ESIC is mandatory otherwise, as directed by
Ex.Director (HR), MAHAGENCO vide letter. No.1637 Dtd.07.02.14, the contractor who are having less than 20
labours are not getting registration code under ESIC Act,1948, such contractor can work without ESIC
registration code but contractor worker working in said contract will not get the benefit under ESIC
Act,1948.Contractor shall bring this fact to the knowledge of contract labours.

Labour License>>Labour license is applicable as per contract labour regulations & Abolition Act & Rules their
under. If the licence expiry date is within the contract period the bidder should give undertaking to renew the
licence before 15 days period of expiry date otherwise work order will be cancelled.
