INT. HOUSE.

SITTING ROOM-DAY

Jamal(30), a former intelligence officer now turned vigilante

sitting on the sofa, a bottle of wine in his right hand, deep
in thoughts. Someone enters the room

JAMAL
Hello son, welcome back

Junior(16) Jamal's son sits on the couch next to him.

JUNIOR
(Sighs)

Hey Dad, how's your day?

JAMAL
Good son, how about you?

JUNIOR
Not bad, had to leave the school early
today.

JAMAL
Something to do with that teacher
again?

JUNIOR
Nah... It's something else..

JAMAL
What's is it son, talk to me, am your
father remember.

JUNIOR
It's nothing Dad, just tired.

JAMAL
Alright! I'll be in my room if you
need me

Jamal gets up,still carrying the wine bottle, looks tired but
tall as always, walks to the bed room, unlocks the door and
lays flat on the bed with the shoes still on. Takes out a
phone from his pocket and looks at it, shakes his head.

JAMAL
Morons! They ain't even ashamed.

Throws the phone on the bed, and closes his eyes.

INT. GYM. NIGHT

Zara (24), a professional mixed martial artist and a sporty

strong lady is seen practicing punch, kick and evasive
techniques in a ring with a trainer(male) .

TRAINER
1 2 come on!!

ZARA(CONT)
(Punchs) shouts

Girl champion!!

After series of training and exercise, we see Zara drinking

water from a bottle, panting heavily.

TRAINER
You pushed it pretty hard today Zara.

ZARA(CONT)
Yeah, had to boss, I gotta sweat more
in the ring to bleed less outside
right?

TRAINER
Ameen to that girl! See you tomorrow.

ZARA
Good night.

They both give a fist as an agreement and the trainer walks

away. Zara stands up and goes to the changing room, takes her
bag and leaves the gym.

EXT. OUTSIDE THE GYM. NIGHT

Now we see Zara opening the gym room and, as she steps out,
someone calls her,she realizes it's her gym partner
Rachel(25) she looks back at the person.

ZARA
Yoooow! Wasap girl?

RACHEL
Am great, how are you?

ZARA
Good, didn't see you in there.

RACHEL
Yeah, came pretty late today.

ZARA
Why? What's wrong?

RACHEL
Was with my sister, apparently some
dick heads tried to grab her while she
was heading home.

ZARA
OMG!! How's she now

RACHEL
She's fine, some good Samaritans
helped her, a little shaken up but
she's good.

ZARA
Thank God! This town isn't so safe
nowadays, I hear a lot of bad things
happening around.

RACHEL
Yeah, people can be so evil, otherwise
you're good?

ZARA
Am great dear

RACHEL
OK then, I'll head home, good night

ZARA
Good night, I'll see you tomorrow.

They hug and Zara walks to her car (a 2015 toyota mark x)
parked outside the gym, opens the rear door, throws the bag
inside and closes it. She then opens the driver door and sits
in, sighs and pushes the ignition button, puts it in drive
and drives away.

EXT. OUTSIDE THE HOUSE. DAY

We see the sun coming up, inside Jamal's compound (two

bedroom house) peaceful and beautiful early morning, Jamal
sits on a rocking chair, a cup of coffee in his hand, he's
busy reading something on the phone, after some minutes

Junior comes out of the house, still in sleeping clothes and

sleepy.

JUNIOR
Morning Dad?

JAMAL
Morning son, how's the sleep?

JUNIOR
Great.

JAMAL
Aren't you going to school today?

JUNIOR
(chuckles )

It's Saturday dad.

JAMAL
Right, almost forgot that, sorry son,
looks like the years have cought up to
me.

JUNIOR
It's OK, are we still going to the
park today?

JAMAL
I would love to, but I gotta take care
of something today, your mom can come
pick you up later, sorry.

JUNIOR
OK, wasn't expecting it anyway.

JAMAL
(Turns at him) what's that supposed to
mean?

JUNIOR
I mean you're always busy, right?

JAMAL
Look son, I would love to enjoy as
much time with you, but i have some
things to do too.

JUNIOR
Whatever!!

Junior goes back in the house, Jamal leans back on the chair.

JAMAL (CONT)
(Sighs heavily) Kids of today!

Now we see Jamal coming out of the house, dressed up in a

shirt and a kaki trouser, goes up to the car parked in front
of the house and enters, the gate opens and he drives on the
highway, listens to a rhumba song while driving, after some
time he exits the highway and packs outside a café. Comes out
of the car and walks to the Cafe and enters. Looks around and
spots a person sitting alone at the back corner on a
computer. Jamal walks to him.

JAMAL
How are you old boy?

KEVOO
Good Afande. Uko aje?

JAMAL
Salama, and for the record, am not in
that shit no more .

KEVOO
(laughs) Cut the crab and sit boy.

JAMAL
You know my days in the Agency is not
what am proud of.

KEVOO
Am sure you'll find somewhere to hang
all those medals in your heart
partner.

The waiter comes to their table with breakfast service.

WAITER
Enjoy your breakfast sirs

KEVOO
Thank you Lucy.(turns to Jamal) I took
the initiative of pre-ordering.

JAMAL
(scoffs) Coz I'm a slow selector?

KEVOO
Coz I know your ass that much boy.

They both laugh. Jamal shows a paining face, his eyes glued
at the cup of coffee in front of him.

JAMAL (CONT)
You know, despite doing some great
jobs for this country, there are some
things that still haunts me man.

KEVOO
That's not on you brother, after all
those are orders and orders are to be
delivered.

JAMAL
I still feel like I've done nothing
good in service of this country.

KEVOO
Don't say that brother, you've
achieved a lot of great things that we
as a country are proud and thankful
for you. They may not know you but you
did your duties in security to this
country.

JAMAL
Yeah, am not sure about that.

KEVOO
That for another day, it's not the
reason I called you, I have another
issue.

JAMAL
What's it?

Kevoo takes a laptop from his bag opens it, types something
in it and shows it to Jamal.

KEVOO
So I was looking into something going
on in the town lately, for the past 3
weeks there has been countless
kidnappings going on so I decided to
take a look, and what I discovered
will shock you partner.

JAMAL
What did you discover?

KEVOO
Of all those kidnappings, most of the
victims are found toutured and killed
after three days of their
disappearing.

JAMAL
Am listening.

KEVOO
So I decided to gather a small team to
investigate this kidnappings.

JAMAL
And what's that got to do with me?

KEVOO
For beginners, you're the first person
to hear this from me, coz you're like
a brother and ain't no one I trust
more than you.

JAMAL
I left that life behind Kevoo,

KEVOO

JAMAL

KEVOO

JAMAL

all all those corrupt politicians and
authorities out there bro, be real

JAMAL
