WARM UP
The teacher starts the class by greeting the students and checks attendance. First

students to read out loud the answers and she writes them on the board for them to
check. After the students finish with the activity, the teacher tells them to close their
eyes and count to 10. Then she writes some sentences on the board, some of them
are correct and others are not, the sentences are: “He don’t like football” “I live in
Buenos Aires” “She doesn’t play the guitar” “He like music”. The teacher reads out
loud the sentences and the students say if they are correct or not and what is the
correct word, then with a color chalk she writes the correct word over the mistake.
The students write these sentences on their folders.

CORE TASK
Once the students finish copying, the teacher asks them to open their book on page
55 to revise the present simple and she writes the number on the board. The teacher
asks one student to read the task and explains that they have to read and write what
Bruno says in the present simple. First the teacher reads the example that is in the
book and tells them to remember how they have to write the sentences changing
“Bruno” into “He” and applying the rules of the tense that they have in the poster
from the previous class. While they work the teacher plays some music and checks if
someone needs help. When they finish, she asks some students to read the answers
out loud and if it is necessary she writes them on the board as well.

Before the next activity she introduces the question form of the present simple, first
she provides examples on the board of the questions, such as: “Does he like
football?” “Do you live in Mercedes?” “Does she write songs?” “Do they like Bruno
Mars?”. She asks if these are negative or positive sentences, when the students
answer she sticks a poster with the rules and then she explains it. She asks the
students to copy the sentences and the posters on their folders.

FOLLOW UP

task and explains that in pairs they have to match the information with the correct
one, and when they finish with that the teacher reads out loud the correct answers
for them to check. Once they know that the information is correct they write the
sentences correctly in their folders. While they work she monitors and plays some
