Tier-I: General Intelligence and Reasoning


- Analogy, Classification, Series (number, letter, figure), Coding-Decoding, Blood Relations

- Direction Sense, Venn Diagrams, Syllogism, Statement & Conclusion, Mathematical Operations

- Matrix, Word Formation, Ranking, Order, Calendar & Clock, Non-verbal Reasoning (Mirror, Water

Image, Paper Folding)

Tier-I: General Awareness


A. Static GK: History (Ancient to Modern), Geography (Indian & World), Indian Polity, Indian

Economy, Art & Culture.

B. General Science (10th level): Physics, Chemistry, Biology.

C. Current Affairs: National & International Events, Sports, Awards, Government Schemes,

Summits.

Tier-I: Quantitative Aptitude


Arithmetic: Number System, LCM, HCF, Percentages, Profit & Loss, SI & CI, Time & Work, Time &

Distance.

Algebra: Linear, Quadratic Equations.

Geometry: Lines, Angles, Triangles, Circles.

Mensuration: 2D and 3D figures.

Trigonometry: Ratios, Heights & Distances.

Data Interpretation: Graphs, Charts, Tables.

Tier-I: English Comprehension


Grammar: Error Spotting, Fill in the Blanks, Synonyms, Antonyms, One-word Substitution, Idioms.

Comprehension: Reading Passages, Cloze Tests, Sentence Improvement, Para-jumbles.

Tier-II: Paper I - Quantitative Abilities


Same topics as Tier-I but with higher difficulty.

Includes advanced-level Data Interpretation, Geometry proofs, Algebraic equations.

Tier-II: Paper II - English Language and Comprehension


Advanced Grammar: Error Spotting, Voice, Speech, Cloze Test, Vocabulary (Synonyms, Antonyms,

One-word Substitution).

Reading Skills: Multiple Passages, Para Jumbles, Sentence Completion.

Tier-II: Paper III - General Studies (Finance & Economics) [For AAO]
Part A - Finance & Accounts: Principles of Accounting, Journal Entries, Trial Balance, Balance

Sheet.

Part B - Economics & Governance: Indian Economy, Economic Terms, RBI & Banking, Budget,

Fiscal Policy, LPG Reforms.

Exam Pattern and Notes


- Tier-I and Tier-II are Computer-Based Tests.

- Negative Marking: 0.50 in Tier-I; 1 mark in Tier-II.

- Tier-II Paper I & II compulsory for all posts; Paper III only for AAO.

- Descriptive and Skill Tests removed as per latest update (verify with notification).
