Tournament Information and Rules:

• 7 v 7 tournament (6 players and 1 goalie)


• All Pool play games will be 2 x 10-minute halves
• Playoff games will be 2 x 10-minute halves.
• 7 Goal Mercy rule in effect and will be recorded as such towards point differential.
• Teams are expected to bring their own team soccer balls and are expected to warm-up
prior to their games to ensure games are kept on schedule.
• Please bring a set of pinnies in the event of a uniform conflict.
• Players MUST wear shin pads. Cleats are optional.
• Substitutions can be made by either team when the ball leaves the field of play. Advise
the official of substitutions and play will be halted.
• When the ball exits the sideline, the ball shall be put back in play with a kick in.
• You CANNOT score directly from a kick in!
• NO dribble entry on a kick in. Defenders MUST be 5 yards from the kick in.
• There are NO OFFSIDES!
• Players receiving a yellow card must be substituted but can return to play at the next
opportunity.
• Players receiving 2 yellow cards in one match will sit out their team’s next match.
• Players who accumulate 3 yellow cards will sit out their team’s next match.
• Players receiving an ejection from a match for violent conduct will not be allowed to
participate for the duration of the tournament.
• Players are NOT permitted to leave their feet and slide tackle. A player may be subject
to a yellow card if warranted.
• All free kicks are in-direct (2 touch).
• If a tie occurs during a playoff game, penalty shots will begin immediately.
• 3 penalty shots will be taken by each team and can be taken by anyone on the team. If
the score is still tied, alternating penalty kicks will be used to decide the winner.
• In the event of a forfeit, the winning team will be awarded a 3-0 result.

Point System:

• 3 points for a win


• 1 point for a tie
• 0 points for a loss
