🧾 Final-Year Project FAQs for Amity Online

Students on Qollabb

🔁 Onboarding & Access

1. How do I access the Qollabb platform as an Amity Online student?


You must log in through Amity’s Amigo Portal.
Navigate to:

Amigo Portal →Dissertation (MSDS600)-Semester IV -> Project Submission → Qollabb


Project submission
Student will be redirected to Qollabb’s dashboard automatically. Direct sign-up on Qollabb
is not allowed.

2. I logged into Amigo but cannot see the “Qollabb Project submission' link. What should I
do?
Please raise a query via Amity University Online Student Support. The link will appear only
MBA IV semester students.

3. What should I do after logging into Qollabb from Amigo?


Complete your profile by:

 Uploading your resume

 Filling in academic and personal info

Note: Qollabb will assign you a project and mentor within 12–24 hours after this step.

4. Will I be notified when the project and mentor are assigned?


Yes, Qollabb will send an email with project details and mentor details.

5. Can I directly sign up or log in to Qollabb without going through Amigo?


No. Amity students can only access Qollabb via the Amigo portal. Direct login or signup on
Qollabb is not permitted. Also, you must be logged in to Amigo while clicking on any link
sent to you in emails.

👨‍🏫 Mentoring Sessions


6. How will I know when my mentor has scheduled a session?
You will receive an email notification. Also, check the “Mentor” tab on your Qollabb
dashboard for session details.

7. How do I join a mentor session?


Go to Mentor Tab → Scheduled Session → Click “Join” at the session time.

8. I missed my session with the mentor. What now?


Your mentor will keep on scheduling sessions at least once or twice a week throughout the
project period, Please keep checking your on Qollabb under “Mentors” tab as well as in your
email.

9. Can I request a different project if the one assigned doesn’t suit me?
Yes. Discuss your interest with your mentor during your session and request a reassignment
if needed.

📅 Weekly Updates & Report Submission

10. Do I have to submit weekly updates?


Yes, It’s the breakdown of your work into the phases. You must submit your weekly progress
via your Qollabb dashboard → Assigned Project → Weekly Updates.

11. How do I submit the final project report?


Once the project is complete:

 Prepare a PDF report

 Go to your project in Qollabb>My Application>Click on Project Topic>click on the


Project Report and upload the file No hard copy submission is needed for the
university.

12. Can I upload multiple versions of my project report?


Generally, only one final submission is required. If your mentor asks for corrections, re-
uploading is allowed.

📞 Evaluation, Viva & Certificate

13. What happens after I submit my project report?

 Your mentor will evaluate the report in 7–10 days

 You will be scheduled for a 10–15-minute online viva within 10 days from the date
of submission of report by the mentor.

 You’ll receive an email for the viva schedule as you receive the email for the session
by the mentor.
14. How do I get my project completion certificate?
After successful viva and evaluation:

 You’ll receive your Certificate of Completion via email

 You can also download it from:

Qollabb Dashboard → My Applications → Click on Project → Download Certificate

15. What if I don’t get the certificate on time?


Wait 10 days after viva. If still pending, raise a ticket on Qollabb with your details.

Troubleshooting & Support

16. My profile is not saving / I’m facing technical issues on Qollabb.


Make sure you’re entering the details properly. If issues persist, raise a helpdesk ticket with
screenshots.

17. I’m not receiving emails from Qollabb. What do I do?


Check your spam/junk folder. Also, ensure the registered email on Amigo is correct. If
needed, raise a Qollabb support ticket.

18. I exited my project by mistake. Can I rejoin or choose another?


Yes. Discuss with your mentor in the next session. If they approve, reassignment will be done
accordingly from the list of topic available on the Qollabb Platform.

19. My project is assigned but no mentor has been assigned yet.


Mentor assignments follow project allocation usually within 12–24 hours. Wait for the email
or raise a ticket if it’s delayed.

20. Can I speak to someone at Qollabb for urgent support?


Yes. Mention your issue and phone number in a ticket, and the Qollabb support team will
reach out to you.

🔑 Step 1: Accessing Qollabb via Amigo

🚫 Do not visit Qollabb.com directly — Amity students must use the Amigo portal.

➡️Login to Amigo Portal

➡️Go to: Project Submission → Final Year Project

➡️You will be automatically redirected to your personalized Qollabb dashboard.

🧾 Step 2: Complete Your Profile on Qollabb

To get your project assigned, you must:

✔️Upload your updated resume

✔️Confirm your course, semester, and contact details

⏳ Once submitted, your project topic and mentor will be auto-assigned within 12–24 hours.

📬 Step 3: Wait for Email Notification

Qollabb will send an email to your registered Amity email ID with:

📌 Your Mentor's Name

📌 Next Steps for Mentoring & Submission

If you don’t see the email in your inbox, check your spam/junk folder.

🎥 Step 4: Attend Your First Mentor Session

🔔 Once scheduled by your mentor, you’ll receive a session email.


➡️Go to the Mentor tab on Qollabb

➡️Click “Join” on the scheduled day & time

📅 This session is crucial to discuss expectations and plan your work

📌 Missed the session? Your next session shall be scheduled soon and you’ll receive the
email.

Step 5: Submit Weekly Progress Updates

You’re expected to submit weekly updates on your project progress.

✅ Navigate to:

Dashboard → My Applications → Assigned Project → Weekly Updates

📌 These updates help your mentor track your development.

🧾 Step 6: Upload Final Project Report

🎓 Once your project is complete, prepare a well-formatted PDF report.

➡️Dashboard → My Applications → Assigned Project → Weekly Updates

📁 Upload only a PDF — no hard copy needs to be submitted to Amity.

📌 You’ll receive confirmation once the upload is successful.

💬 Step 7: Viva Voce Examination

🧑‍🏫 Within 7–10 days after upload, your mentor will:

✔️Review your final report

✔️Schedule a 10–15 minute online viva

You’ll be notified of the session via email.

After the viva:
